Aimee’s Football Picks Of Week 2

Last week I went 8 - 7 - 1 against the spread. Definitely not bad for week 1!

Being born and raised in New York I have been a New York Giants fan my whole life but I didn't know anything about any other teams until I became an adult.

When I met my husband every Sunday was a football day... all day. I decided if I wanted to hang out with him and actually enjoy it I had to know more about all of the teams and not just the Giants.

I was a bartender at the time and would ask all of the big betters that I would take care of who their #1 pick of the week was, then I would put them all together and bet a 6pt 5-team parlay. (I didn't know what it was at first either) I did really well and learned so much about betting and football. It was a win-win (most weeks) I got to hang out with my husband during the football days and won a few bucks here and there.

Betting doesn't have to be scary and you don't have to put a ton of money down to win or just to get into games that you wouldn't otherwise get into.

They even make betting so easy now you can do it from your phone and you don't have to go to the sportsbook and get embarrassed when you have no idea what you're doing! I am not a degenerate I just love football and getting into all things football!

So with the NFL kicking off, I bring to you Aimee's picks for week 1 of the NFL!

DISCLAIMER: I think I'm pretty good at betting on football but please don't put your children's college fund on these picks.

Giants -2
After a big win in week 1, I really think the Giants are on a high and Saquon should come out strong again this week

Patriots - 2.5

The Steelers did beat the Bengals in OT and the Pats did lose ugly to the Dolphins but I think the Patriots will come back with a big win this week.

Saints +2.5

I don't like either side on this but gotta take one. I do love the over in this (44.5)

Browns -6.5

No other reason but at the end of the day Jets will be Jets

Ravens -3.5 

I know the Dolphins looked really good last week against the Pats but I don't think that will carry over this week

Commanders -1 

This is essentially a pick em but the Lions aren't great and I see them giving the NFC east back to back wins.

Colts -3.5 

I do think the Colts are better than what they showed last week and I do think the Jags could potentially take this win but I don't like them for one of my upsets.

Rams -10

The Falcons always screw it up and this is the Rams home opener. They are a much much better team than they showed last week and they also had 10 days rest. This could be one of my favorite picks

Seattle Seahawks +8.5

I don't think they will win but I also don't think they will lose by more than a TD. The 9ers did just lose to the Bears.

Texans +10

Again, this is a big spread for the Broncos who just lost to the Seahawks. Is it going to be a few weeks before Russell Willson can figure out his new team? I don't think the Texans will win but it will be a closer game

Bengals -7

Let's be honest the Cowboys don't have a QB for "several" weeks. Not looking to good for them this week

Raiders -5.5

Raiders comin off a tough loss and it's their home opener if Derek Carr can get his other receivers involved like Adams we are in business!

Packers -9.5

I know it seems like a high number but Aaron Rogers is prepared. It's a rival game they are in Lambeau

Eagles -2.5

I guess if I had to pick I'm going with the home team but this game is up in the air for me

Bills -9.5

It's a big number but the Bills are that good and this is their home opener
