Last week I went 6 - 10 against the spread. We all have bad weeks, right? It was 1 win better than last week. Not saying much.
Being born and raised in New York I have been a New York Giants fan my whole life but I didn't know anything about any other teams until I became an adult.
When I met my husband every Sunday was a football day... all day. I decided if I wanted to hang out with him and actually enjoy it I had to know more about all of the teams and not just the Giants.
I was a bartender at the time and would ask all of the big betters that I would take care of who their #1 pick of the week was, then I would put them all together and bet a 6pt 5-team parlay. (I didn't know what it was at first either) I did really well and learned so much about betting and football. It was a win-win (most weeks) I got to hang out with my husband during the football days and won a few bucks here and there.
Betting doesn't have to be scary and you don't have to put a ton of money down to win or just to get into games that you wouldn't otherwise get into.
They even make betting so easy now you can do it from your phone and you don't have to go to the sportsbook and get embarrassed when you have no idea what you're doing! I am not a degenerate I just love football and getting into all things football!

DISCLAIMER: I think I'm pretty good (my record doesn't show my skills) at betting on football but please don't put your children's college fund on these picks.
Chicago Bears at NY Giants
Giants -3
I know I know I said the Giants would win last week and they didn't but trust me this week. We are going to come back strong. We have to or the NFC east will run away from us.
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints
Vikings -3
There is no home team this week because the game is in London so the game starts at 6:30 am our time. I gotta go with the Vikings this week. The Vikings looked like the real deal against the Lions last week.
LA Chargers at Houston Texans
Texans +5
I think this is going to come down to a field goal. Tho I hate the #5. The Chargers are really banged up and the Texans are looking for their first win.
Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions
Hawks +4
OK OK soooo here is the deal one thing I always say is if the home team is giving 4 it's a trap game. So I am going to go with the Hawks for that reason and that reason only. Talk to me next week if it's true or not!
Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles
Jags -6.5
The Eagles are the real deal but so are the Jags the past couple of weeks. The Eagles are the last undefeated team but I think the Jags may change that on Sunday. If not change that it will still be closer than 6.5... I hope
New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
Steelers -3.5
I hope that .5 doesn't come back to bite me. I gotta go with the home team in this one. Tribisky has been showing up for the Steelers, hopefully he does this week too!
Cleveland Browns at Atlanta Falcons
Falcons +1.5
This is tough. I wanted to say Browns but they have Myles Garrett and Clowny still not practicing as of this post (Friday) cut me a break.. if they play I take the Browns but if they don't I'm going Falcons
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Titans +3.5
This is a division game and a rivalry game. Neither team is great but both have great backs. I gotta go with Titans here to at least cover
Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys -3
It pains me to pick the Cowboys and I hope I am wrong here but at home coming off a big win against the Giants I think this may be a bigger gap than 3
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
Raiders -2.5
Listen I have taken the Raiders 3 weeks straight for them to go 0-3. They are a far better team than the record shows... or are they not? Gotta take this one to salvage their entire season. Make or break for the Raiders
Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens
Bills -3
I don't have enough upset this week but I definitely don't think this is going to be one of them. Bill are coming off a tough tough loss and won't lose 2 in a row.
New England Patriots at Green Bay Packers
Packers -9.5
I know this is a lot of points but do the Pats even have a QB? (as of this post they are not sure)
Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Chiefs +1
This is going to be a great game I HOPE. The Bucs offense has come alive but I think Patrick Mahomes is going to be brilliant this week.
Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
Panthers -1
This is a pick em and I just gotta go with the home team on this one. Boring game for me so that's all I have to say ;)
LA Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Rams +2
this is a rematch of the NFC title game and I think Rams are going to come out swinging.
