Aimee’s Football Picks – Week 5

Last week I went 8 - 6 - 2 against the spread. I am chalking that up as a huge win! Go me!

Being born and raised in New York I have been a New York Giants fan my whole life but I didn't know anything about any other teams until I became an adult.

When I met my husband every Sunday was a football day... all day. I decided if I wanted to hang out with him and actually enjoy it I had to know more about all of the teams and not just the Giants.

I was a bartender at the time and would ask all of the big betters that I would take care of who their #1 pick of the week was, then I would put them all together and bet a 6pt 5-team parlay. (I didn't know what it was at first either) I did really well and learned so much about betting and football. It was a win-win (most weeks) I got to hang out with my husband during the football days and won a few bucks here and there.

Betting doesn't have to be scary and you don't have to put a ton of money down to win or just to get into games that you wouldn't otherwise get into.

They even make betting so easy now you can do it from your phone and you don't have to go to the sportsbook and get embarrassed when you have no idea what you're doing! I am not a degenerate I just love football and getting into all things football!

Giants +8

Don't let me down, guys. If you do let me down just keep it within 8 please.

Patriots -3

Gotta go with the Pats on this one. The Lions have continued to find a way to lose.

Bills -14

The Steelers aren't playing well and the Bills are at home they had a tight game against the Ravens last week and 14 is a big number. But I think they got this.

Dolphins -3.5

I know they just lost their QB and I hope that .5 doesn't come back to bite me. But I still like the Dolphins. If Tyreek Hill is for sure healthy and playing I like them even more.

Falcons +10

The Bucs haven't played as well as we thought this year and Tom is been in the news allllll week with the divorce news. Will that get to the G.O.A.T.? I don't think they will lose but it may be closer than 10

Saints -5.5

Just going with the home team on this one. Again that .5 kills me but they better be able to win by at least 6 folks.

Jags -7

The Texans are still winless I don't think they will get their first win in Jacksonville

Titans -2.5

I don't think the home team will come through this time. Washington are a bad 1-3 team. They haven't won since week 1 against the Jags.

Bears +7.5

It's the .5 for me. Gotta go with the Bears and that half of a point

LA Chargers -2.5

Just because really

9ers -6.5

Because Baker Mayfield is really that bad of a QB this year

Rams -5

Rams better bring the Cowboys back to reality.

Eagles -5.5

It's hard better against the home team when they aren't terrible but the Eagles are the last undefeated team in the NFL and they are playing like it.

Ravens -3

Gotta go with the Ravens this time. They should have won the 2 losses that they have. Lamar Jackson will hopefully throws and runs for 17 touchdowns.

Chiefs -7

I hate to go againt the Vegas Raiders but they just don't look great. Even though this is a division game it may be more than 7
