Vegas‘ legendary German duo Siegfried and Roy, will be remembered as masters of the impossible. From illusion performances involving white lions and tigers with sold out shows at the Mirage Resort & Casino, their entranced magic show left audience members wanting more for over 35 years. The duo created jaw-dropping performances that showcased glitz, glamor and even inflicted a little bit of fear. Audience members would gather week and after week from all over the world to awe at the show’s wide variety of species including lions, tigers, elephants, leopards and snakes. Featured on command these animals and reptilians would disappear within thin air, jump through hoops and interact with audience members in ways they couldn’t imagine. Siegfried and Roy‘s love of magic, mutual respect and determination allowed them to become one of the longest running record breaking entertainment shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Their four decade career marked an achievement when their show became the most expensive show on the Las Vegas Strip at 30 million during that time. Siegfried once said, “We have achieved all the success we could ever hope for, and more, and when I look back, I feel as if my whole life has been magic.” Siegfried and Roy were a dynamic duo unlike any other and will be remembered for their talents, passion and great taste.
