Ranked: Nevada Among Top 10 States With Worst Road Rage

We all have our road rage tendencies. Some of us are milder than others, but we all get aggravated when we get cut off by another car. It's human nature. However, some of us respond in more confrontational ways than others. I usually keep it together pretty well and try to be understanding. We all make mistakes. But when a fellow driver sharing the road does something absolutely idiotic, I am not afraid to lay on the horn. It's there for a reason, right?

According to a new survey from Forbes Advisor, some states are home to more aggressive drivers who struggle to maintain their composure behind the wheel than others. This survey counted actions such as horn honking, rude gestures, and aggressive behaviors due to road rage. And, of course, after analyzing 10 key metrics from a survey of 5,000 drivers across the nation, Nevada's community of licensed drivers earned our state a spot on yet another top 10 list.

Driving in Las Vegas is literally one of the scariest everyday tasks I complete. I always wonder before a drive if I'm going to make it safely to my location. That thought runs through my mind. Everyday. There's no way to know for certain, no matter what state you're in or where you're going. But the ridiculousness on our roads and the road rage that results can be pretty terrifying and puts so many in danger.

That said, Nevada is actually not the #1 state with the most confrontational drivers, according to this survey. Some of the top 10 genuinely surprised me... I wasn't expecting to see Oklahoma pop up on the list. And I CERTAINLY wasn't expecting the #1 state to be what it is. However, I would've bet my next paycheck that New York had earned a top rank. Surprisingly, they aren't on the list.

I'm actually shocked by this one. I thought Washington would've been home to a vast majority of calmer drivers...

The one experience I've had driving through New Mexico, I was, in fact, the victim of some road rage-driven confrontation. So I'd consider this one accurate, in my book.

I've never visited Oklahoma, but I've always pictured it's residents as very calm people. I don't know. Apparently, I am wrong.

We call them "man's best friend" for a reason. They truly are! I'd be lost without my pup, and so would the millions of additional dog owners out there. They're part of the family, and they never fail to make us smile when we need it most.

While all dog owners can agree that their furry friends play an crucial role in their homes and their happiness, we also know that we all have preferences when it comes to our different breeds. Every breed has its own special set of characteristics that make them unique. Personality traits that one person may love might not be another person's cup of tea. Some like bigger dogs, and some prefer for their pup to fit in the palm of their hand. And that's totally fine! Everyone is different, and so is every individual breed and dog. That's why it's great that there are hundreds of different dog breeds. There's a doggo out there for everyone!

We officially have the list of the most popular dog breeds for this year based on the results of a survey by Trupanion. I'll be honest... a couple might surprise you. I'm shocked to see that a few breeds I would personally deem some of the very most common did not crack the top 10. I'm just as shocked that a couple others 'marked their territory' at the top of the list. (Get it?)
