There is a lot of pressure that goes into naming your baby. Giving another human a name can be hard. There are so many things to take into consideration. How will it sound with your last name or with their sibling's names? How can mean kids change it around to make fun of it? Is there a good short version for it or a nickname?
There are some things that you want to stay away from when naming your baby. Try not to name them the 'popular right now name' so there aren't 10 Andys in their third-grade class. Try to be as unique as possible without being the Kardashians. You also have to make sure that a family member or a friend hasn't already "called" that name as their own to use. That can really cause family/friend drama. Is there someone you or your spouse don't like with that name? That is a deal breaker. Maybe you dated one in the past. Can't do it.
If you trust your spouse enough to do the "you name this one and I'll name the next" then that can be a route for you. It most definitely wasn't with us.
One thing to remember is it's your baby and you shouldn't have to listen to anyone other than your spouse about how they feel about the name. If they want to pay for the child for the rest of their life then they can name the baby. But if they aren't then they should keep their opinions to themselves
Whatever inspires you let that be the starting point and go from there.
At the end of the day, it's a fun process. Stressful? A little. But more on the fun side! Let's try to remember that the baby is the one that makes the name. The name doesn't make the baby.

Ariana Grande has been a controversial figure in the LGBTQ+ community ever since her song “Monopoly” came out in 2019. For many it raised the question of whether or not the pop star herself was bisexual, while others criticized her for "queer baiting," which is when celebrities drop subtle hints at identifying somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum in order to attract that fan base. When asked about the song, whose lyrics say, "I like women and men," Grande replied on Twitter. "I haven't [labeled myself] before and still don't feel the need to now which is okay," she wrote at the time.

Hendrix enlisted in the United States Army in May 1961 as an ultimatum following getting busted for stealing cars. (It was either the Army or prison.) He was honorably discharged in June 1962 following a report filed by his platoon sergeant stating, "He has no interest whatsoever in the Army ... It is my opinion that Private Hendrix will never come up to the standards required of a soldier. I feel that the military service will benefit if he is discharged as soon as possible."
