It just doesn't get any better than that.

From A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life, to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and The Nightmare Before Christmas, the storylines of each of the classic films vary greatly. With so many different likes and relatable experiences among the human population, it only makes sense that writers would have to get inventive with their Christmas movie plot lines.

One of the greatest traits of holiday movies is the wide range of characters and personality characteristics portrayed in each of the different films. The range is vast, with the most joyous and festive of characters running amuck spreading Christmas cheer... to the most sour and ill-spirited souls you'll ever see. The wide variation of characters always gives the viewer someone to relate to, and thus, a movie and a storyline to relate to. And that's where this gets fun...

Have you ever wondered which of your favorite festive films you are most like? Which classic you most relate to? Well, wonder no more! Looper has released a full list of each zodiac sign's Christmas movie, and let me tell you... They're a little freaky accurate.

Bundle up in your coziest blanket, grab a mug of hot cocoa, and get ready to scroll and obtain some of the most important information of your life. Because this will both open your eyes and shift your brain into full holiday overdrive.

If your zodiac sign is Aries, then you share many traits with one of the greatest Christmas classics of all time, "A Christmas Story." You are creative, intelligent, and always think outside the box, just like the films main character, Ralphie. The entire movie centers around having to impatiently wait for something you desperately want, which most closely overlaps with the Aries sign. As a fire sign, Aries are known as action-oriented and direct individuals, and that is "A Christmas Story" through and through.

According to Looper, "Taureans are earth signs, which means they are very grounded, and their archetypical symbol is the sensualist." The entire "Home Alone" film focuses on Kevin McCallister and him enjoying being able to indulge in the simplest pleasures he couldn't normally enjoy in the comfort of his home, alone. He loves creating his own routine, thus making this Christmas classic most relatable to the Taurus.

Geminis are a very curious and very adaptable sign. , Geminis love learning new things and being around people who are different from them. While the characters themselves don't particularly display these characteristics in the Christmas movie "The Holiday," these traits are found throughout the plot and message of the film. Learning, exploration, and communication are key elements of the film, "The Holiday" — which, were it a person, would be a Gemini through-and-through.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is really all about one central theme: the importance of celebrating tradition and remembering one's roots. And that is so, so important to a Cancer. Cancers typically have the strongest association with the concept of tradition, and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is one of the most notable Christmas classics of all time because of this valuable theme.

Leos are "renowned for their extravagance, passion, and love for having fun with friends." Despite occasionally getting caught up in the material and vanity of life, they are also generous, cheerful, and fond of entertaining, making "A Muppet Family Christmas" the perfect match for a Leo. the 1987 Muppet TV special embraces the themes of generosity and desire to be surrounded by friends and loved ones.

Let's face it. Virgos are notorious for typically sweating the small stuff, and a Virgo Christmas movie should totally focus on learning to relax and understanding that emotions hold just as much importance as facts. The Hallmark Christmas banger "Let It Snow” matches this Virgo theme to a T with "made-for-TV panache."

Libras are all about finding balance, achieving equality, and ultimately finding peace. The Richard Curtis Christmas rom-com "Love Actually" also centers around achieving balance and equality no matter how silly the route to getting it might be. Like a Libra, the film focuses on the meaning and importance of relationships and "the ways in which we see ourselves reflected in others."

Scorpios are described as the most cunning and resourceful of all of the zodiac signs, and when they give into their darker instincts, the Scorpio can become somewhat manipulative. In "The Nightmare Before Christmas," Jack Skellington eventually learns that the true meaning of the holidays is love, but his initial plot to take over Christmas with spooky and scary intentions. THis film is certainly a stand-alone Christmas classic, but the present themes of both great holiday cheer and a little devious scheming aligns with the sign of Scorpio.

"Elf," the beloved Christmas movie starring Will Ferrell, maintains a few major characteristics throughout: curiousity, energy, and a major eagerness to learn. The Sagittarius is known for their curiosity and energy, and "they often find themselves on a quest for knowledge, eager to explore and discover meaning and truth in life." Replace the word "life" with "Christmas," and Sagittarians have their perfect Christmas movie match.

Capricorns are often recognized as "old souls." They embrace their responsibilities and their commitment to duty a little bit to the extreme sometimes, but they typically tend to chill out and lighten up as they get older. "It's a Wonderful Life" is about "being in the world rather than simply being of it — a message many Capricorns could certainly stand to internalize themselves."

The Aquarius is a unique bird, that can sometimes find themselves being a little Grinch-like. The sign is typically in pursuit of personal freedom despite the potential cost for that freedom, and they can often come across as outcasts. When evaluating the themes and qualities of our favorite classic Christmas movies, one movie certainly stands as a similar outcast itself - "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

Pisces are our dreamers. They stand among the crowd as individuals who often find themselves between a state of fantasy and reality and recognizing the importance in believing in one another's dreams. This perfectly encompasses the Christmas classic "Miracle on 34th Street," a movie entirely centered around belief and keeping your dreams alive, even as we grow up and face the reality as an adult.

It's the most wonderful time of the year... or is it?

Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays. I love spending time with my family, eating delicious food, and drinking festive cocktails. It's always a special time, and I'm so thankful for the magical moments I get to share with my loved ones.

But what I don't love is the seemingly endless stream of holiday parties, the pressure to find the perfect gift for everyone on my list, and of course, the dreaded holiday shopping crowds. Okay. I love the holiday parties most of the time, but I don't love having to find a suitable gift to take to the gathering. It's always so much pressure, and when it comes to gift-giving, there are a plethora of reasons why I find the overall experience less than enjoyable.

That's why this year, I'm cutting back on gifts, and unsurprisingly, so are a lot of folk. A new survey by Oxfam has revealed that many people are also cutting back on their gift-giving this year. The survey reveals the top ten reasons why individuals are cutting back on gifts this holiday season. And while numerous potential reasons for the lack of presents being exchanged immediately come to mind, I found a few of the justifications a bit surprising.

This holiday season, you might consider joining the crown by ditching the crowds! With the influx of friends and family cutting back on gifts, it will be interesting to see how this shift affects business' sales. But by avoiding the holiday gift-giving tradition, a few things are certain - You'll save yourself time, money, and stress in the long run... and who knows, maybe your friends and family will appreciate it too!

With all that being said, if you are going to give a gift this year (and let's be honest, sometimes it's just too hard to resist!), make sure it's something thoughtful that will be truly cherished and not just another piece of junk taking up space in someone's home. Happy holidays!

There's nothing worse than spending bookoos of money on a ton of holiday gifts, charging them to your credit card, and then getting hit with those gnarly interest rates. Save yourself the trouble and heartache, and save yourself a ton of dough. And, most importantly, be smart with your shopping and your spending!

I am totally all for this. Try maintaining the "quality over quantity" mindset as you shop for those special individuals in your lives. A "quality gift" doesn't mean you have to spend a ton of dough on it. Just make sure your gift comes from the heart, and your loved ones will surely love it!

It can be so hard to reign yourself in when it comes to gift shopping. I'm sure more than a handful of us are guilty of going a little overboard with our buying last year. But it's never too late to try to make up for it and replenish our lost money.

This is a big one for me. In the end, it's all about spending precious moments with your loved ones, not the gifts you give or the price tags you've paid. The holidays are about so much more, so try not to get lost in the pressures of gift-giving.

One of the scariest four-letter words. Debt. Don't let yourself go into debt over the holidays. Once you find yourself in the negatives, its so hard to dig yourself out. Save yourself the hassle and stress! Once the holidays are over, you'll be so thankful that you don't have the debt monster looming over your head.

Be savvy with your shopping! Save your money in any way you can, and if you're really wanting to give a gift to a friend or family member, be thrifty and get creative. Use your money and resources carefully and not wastefully!

Yeah. This one surely hits deep for many this year. Bills are stacking up, and there's no reason to feel like you have to spend an excessive amount on gifts. When you think about it, those in your life that are truly deserving of a gift from you are the ones that would prefer you use your money where you need to... On getting out from under those never ending bills.

There's never any harm and only everything to gain by proceeding with caution as inflation continues to take over the consumer market. With prices on nearly everything rising to unaffordable rates, many are taking a step back and being smarter about how they spend. Kuddos to them!

It's just an unfortunate reality of life in 2022. Higher prices. Fewer Benjamins in the bank account. Nearly everyone in society today can relate to the struggle of not being able to afford as much as we once could.

In the end, it all comes down to the brutal cost-of-living crisis we've all faced this year. There's less money to go around, and excessive gift-giving during the holiday season, for many, is just not in the books or the budget. But in the end, that's OK! Focus on the true meaning of the holiday season, and enjoy the company of all of those you love in your life.

If you're wanting to experience a Hallmark Christmas, then you'll want to visit the quaint village of Solvang, located in Santa Ynez, Valley. Only a five hour drive from Las Vegas, the small Danish town celebrates a holiday celebration called Julefest all month long. Starting from November 26 through January 6, this truly magical place appears as a vintage Christmas hamlet at the North Pole.

Solvang is hosting blissful activities all holiday season long. Bring the entire family out for hearty meals, sparkling light and music shows, fascinating nisse adventures, candlelight tours and other festivities taking place. The Danish city is hosting their annual tree lighting ceremony where the city comes to life on December 2 at Slovang Park starting at 5 p.m. The following day is lead by the miraculous Julefest parade on December 3 starting at 11 a.m. at Solvang Park. Walking past the beautifully decorated stores with not a thing out of place feels as if your entered a storybook.

The one and only Santa Clause will be flying in to meet all of the good boys and girls on Saturdays and Sundays as he is very busy preparing for Christmas. The Artisanal Night Marketplace start December 7 at 6p.m. Walk the roads of Slovang as shop vendors will be out selling hand-made crafts, paintings, and other creative products. A joyful music performance will also be taking place.

This tiny Danish town knows how to bring the warmth of the holidays to the cold. Mark your calendars for December 10, as the Solvang Nativity Spectacular will take place at the Slovang Theaterfest. Traditional shows native to the Solvang community will take place one at 5 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.

If you're one who loves to drive around your town looking at Christmas lights we have something even better. December 14, is the Christmas Lights & Sights where everyone will meet at Solvang Veterans Memorial Hall to walk through the tiny town admiring tinkly Christmas lights with hot chocolate and music.

Wrapping up the merry occasion, Solvang does their annual Solvang Tree Burn on January 6 at the Mission Parking Lot starting at 5 p.m. The tree burn allows families to discard their unwanted Christmas trees and serves as a way to help the Santa Baraba County Fire Department practice fire safety training.

Time Magazine named Solvang as part one of the, "Most Christmassy Towns In America."
