I have been lucky enough to go to a lot of concerts in my lifetime and I thought it was true of thumb for the artist to come out swinging with a song that hypes up the entire crowd. That's why we are questioning Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour Setlist... just the beginning of it.

The "Queen" kicked off her global tour Wednesday, May 10th at the Friends Arena in Stockholm with the first of 57 sold-out shows. Tens of thousands of fans squeezed into the arena to see the most-decorated Grammy Award winner in history perform during her first tour in over six years.

The last time she was on the road was "The On the Run II Tour" when she was on tour with her husband JayZ. I was at one of those shows and it was lights out from start to finish. In your face, goosebumps.

Just a sidebar before I get too far into this... if you know anything about me I am a HUGE Beyoncé fan. I am obsessed with her (in a healthy way) so I am not hating. I appreciate her for everything she is and will cry when she takes the stage here in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium but what confuses me is the first 5 songs of this tour. They are slower songs, ballads if you will, and nothing from the new album. She does get into the new songs eventually, of course, but all older songs to kick off the show.

  1. "Dangerously in Love 2"
  2. "Flaws and All"
  3.  "1+1"
  4. "I’m Goin' Down" (Mary J. Blige cover)
  5. "I Care"

Now, this is a seven-part, nearly three-hour show, and knowing Beyoncé she is going to leave us wanting more. There has to be reasoning and purpose to starting with old songs and I can't wait to find out August 26th.

Check out the seven-part full setlist below.
