Shawn bought a “smart” garage door opener that lets him open and shut the door from his phone. The hardware cost money, but the app is free. Cool. Now his car has an option to get that button on the car’s screen. Awesome! Except one issue: they want more for that button – A YEAR – than the hardware cost.
