The holiday season is approaching, and that means retailers across the country are gearing up for the holiday rush. One of my favorite stores of all time, Bass Pro Shops, is no exception! The outdoor retailer is looking to fill over 3,500 seasonal part and full-time positions across all US stores during its National Hiring Day event on Wednesday, October 12th, and Thursday, October 13th.
Here in the Las Vegas Valley, Bass Pro Shops is looking to hire 65 candidates for positions in several different retail departments. The event will be taking place at the store near Blue Diamond Road and Dean Martin Drive right by Silverton Casino Hotel, and interested job seekers are encouraged to apply in advance. Walk-ins will be welcomed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days, but even if you can’t make it to the event, you’re still encouraged to contact the store directly. So what are you waiting for? Start your job hunt today!
Why You Should Consider Working at Bass Pro Shops
Bass Pro Shops isn’t just any old retail store. Not in the slightest. It’s an outdoor retailer that specializes in selling hunting, fishing, camping, and other outdoor recreation products. The company was founded in 1972 by Johnny Morris, and today it has over 100 stores across the United States and Canada. Bass Pro Shops is trusted, and their inventory is deemed some of the best selection out there by those who are committed to their outdoor sports.
If you love the outdoors, then working at Bass Pro Shops might be the perfect fit for you! If you like looking at fishies in a big tank all day (one of my favorite activities on a Bass Pro Shops run), then the gig could be a total blast. And even if you don’t consider yourself that much of an outdoorsy person, there are still a number of reasons to consider a job at Bass Pro Shops. Here are just a few:
