The glimmering lights are plenty in out fair city, so I’m sure you’ve all had out of town friends ask “what is there to do in Las Vegas for Christmas?” PLENTY!
I’ve lived in Las Vegas for 30 years now. When I moved to Las Vegas there were a couple sparkly things to do here and there around the holidays, but the events and attractions have grown exponentially in the past several years. Las Vegas is indeed the city of lights, but during the holidays our city shines even more spectacularly than usual.
I thought I’d share with you some of the holiday attractions I’ve been to over the years, and many new ones I’m recently making my way to see. From light shows to all sorts of family-friendly fun, there is no shortage of attractions, events, and performances for the holiday season in our little hometown of Las Vegas.
Some places you know, some you don’t, and some you may say “no way!” But, yes – YES way! I don’t even ice skate – I know, I’m a loser – but I love to hold on to the little dolphin (so I don’t fall) and join the others in the rink at Downtown Summerlin.
Here are some to get you started – and most likely make a traditional yearly event, as I have done. Hope to see you out and about!
