The real world can be overwhelming sometimes.
Wouldn't it be much nicer if you could build a life in one of the fictional towns from your favorite TV shows? What if you could call your favorite characters your neighbor or co-worker? It seems so much better than your actual neighbor, who doesn't know how to leave his apartment without slamming his door, or your co-worker who feels the need to CC every single employee in the office on every e-mail he writes.
Here are some of the fictional TV cities we'd love to call home:
Stars Hollow, Connecticut (Gilmore Girls)
The coffee is constantly flowing and the conversations are deep. Yes, Stars Hollow would be a wonderful place to set up shop. Plus, can you imagine getting to hang out with Lorelai and Rory?

Capeside, Massachusetts (Dawson's Creek)
Sure, Capeside comes with its fair share of drama, but it's juicy, manageable stuff. You could weigh in on all of the pressing, adolescent issues, and maybe change the course of some of the TV show's relationships.

Sunnydale, California (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Sunnydale might be a slightly creepy place to call home, due to the fact that it's a portal between this reality and the next, but at least you'd never get bored. Plus, Buffy could always use another partner in her vampire slaying adventures.

Smallville, Kansas (Smallville)
We would gladly let trouble find us in Smallville if it meant Tom Welling would come save us...

South Park, Colorado (South Park)
Elementary school would have been WAY more fun if we were friends with kids like Kenny, Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Butters.

Bikini Bottom (Sponge Bob Square Pants)
Lastly, we'd love to live in Bikini Bottom alongside Spongebob Squarepants. Sure, maybe living in a pineapple isn't exactly a realistic long-term housing option, but Spongebob certainly seems to have a good life. Is the Krusty Krab hiring?
