Disney's Cruella starring Emma Stone as the classic Disney villain Cruella de Vil is nothing short of perfect casting as evident by the first look unveiled at Disney's D23 Expo.
Joining Stone in the cast is Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry. Per Entertainment Weekly, Cruella will provide the backstory of the Disney villain and be set in 1970's London and be “punk rock," according to Disney Film chief Sean Bailey and director Craig Gillespie.
A "punk rock" Cruella de Vil certainly sounds intriguing, but we'll all have to wait until May 28, 2021 for the release of Cruella.
