Halsey called out comments about their body in a new TikTok video with the song "I Already Know" by Walworth & Howell playing in the background.
The "New Americana" singer added comments over their face like: "Halsey u look sick," "Is she ok? Put some meat on those bones," "She's too thin," and, "Looks unhealthy." Halsey, 27, captioned the Tiktok, "'U look sick' BC I AM! LET ME LIVE!"
Some fans then took to the comments to say they could relate: "As a fellow chronically ill person I feel this so so much," wrote one, while someone said, "Been there!! 4 years diagnosed with POTS and EDS." Another fan wrote, "Thank you for being so honest and open about it all though, you’re helping a lot of people by this and the chronic illness community is behind you." One commented, "I have POTS triggered by my pregnancy and I just want to say thank you for spreading awareness about this. So much love for you."
As we earlier reported, Halsey has been open about their health, recently explaining how things had changed following their pregnancy and giving birth to son Ender last year.
“I was hospitalized for anaphylaxis a few times nd I had some other stuff going on,” she revealed. After consulting multiple doctors, Halsey was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
“I’m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things,” they said. “It could potentially be another type of autoimmune disease. And I’ve known I’ve had autoimmune issues for most of my life, especially having endometriosis. But, you know, it’s kind of been exasperated since I’ve had Ender.”
