One of the most iconic donut shops in the world is undoubtedly Randy's Donuts. With 20 open locations worldwide, they've certainly made their mark as a leader in the donut industry. And (drumroll please)... Randy's Donuts will be opening their next shop right here in the Las Vegas valley!

The new Las Vegas location will open its doors to the public on Tuesday, August 16th. Located at 2170 S. Rainbow Boulevard, the shop plans to kick off opening day by giving out one free raised, glazed donut to each customer on August 16th between the hours of 6 A.M. and noon.

According to Fox5, the sweet treat chain is thrilled to be opening a location in the Vegas valley. “We bet big on Las Vegas and plan to open more locations for locals throughout Las Vegas,” said Mark Kelegian, Owner of Randy’s Donuts. “People know us from our giant donut in their favorite movies and TV shows, but people love us because we have delicious donuts. We’ve been making them from the same recipe for 70 years!”

The Southern California stand has made appearances in several movies and television shows since its opening in 1952. I have no doubt in my mind that their newest location will aid in continuing the Randy's Donuts legacy!

Don't miss your chance to celebrate the Las Vegas expansion of this legendary donut chain!

20 Best Coffee Shops In Las Vegas

I think it's safe to say that coffee is often a saving grace. And Las Vegas coffee shops have definitely helped us recover after a night out.

It's truly the perfect beverage that's available in multiple mediums. Hot, iced, sweet, bitter, frothy or blended; coffee can quench any type of caffeine craving.

Coffee is also a ritual for many of us, often signifying as the gong that starts our day. When we smell the brewing beans and hear the bubbling noise of the carburetor, memories are often pulled from the back of our minds about cornerstone moments in our lives.

Along with the memories and conversations that are associated with the amazing beverage, coffee is also symbol in many cultures. Whether it's the brewing method or the type of beans being used, coffee -- like most things -- vary across the world.

There are four types of coffee beans: Arabica, Robusta, Liberica, and Excelsa. And according to CoffeeAffection.com, Arabica and Robusta are the most common and popular type of beans.

Arabica is known for having a smooth and complex flavor with a distinct lack of bitterness. Robusta, often associated with Vietnamese coffee, has a stronger and bolder flavor with a higher hint of bitterness laced within the coffee's profile.

The other and less common coffee beans, Liberica and Excelsa, have different flavor notes and are grown in Africa and Asia.

According to CoffeeAffection, Liberica beans "has a controversial and polarizing reputation for wild inconsistency. Those who’ve tried this rare variety either love it or hate it."

Some have described the flavor as nutty, woody and "burnt," with a backbite.

Excelsa beans have qualities that are a mixture of light and dark roast traits. These beans have tart and fruity flavors with a lighter aroma. Yet, these beans still have a depth of flavor.

There's also a science to the coffee brewing process that emphasizes and brings out certain flavors of the beans, which you can read more about here.

To celebrate our love of coffee, here are some of the best shops in Vegas.

9 Dog-Friendly Restaurants In Las Vegas

Las Vegas is full of expensive break-the-bank restaurants, mom and pop shops and small local eateries. Being a pet owner, the question that always comes up is, "Can I bring my dog?" Finding a restaurant that not only seats people but our furry companions can be troublesome. Vegas, Henderson and the other surrounding cities are very pet friendly with dog oriented parks and pet businesses catered just for dog owners.

As cliche as it sounds, "Dog is man's best friend" first said by Frederick, King of Prussia, is actually true. Pets can't speak human but they know what we are saying when we communicate to them. They are an essential part of the family as if they were a brother, sister, cousin or uncle. For a lot of us, our pets are the first thing we see in the morning and the first ones to welcome us home from a long day of work.

We take care of our dogs as if they were a baby. We feed them, wash them, take them for a "w-a-l-k", cuddle them and make sure they are up to date on all of their shots. It's our responsibility as a dog owner to provide the best life that we can give to our pets. After all, pets give us something that is so valuable it's priceless. What is it you ask? Their unconditional love.

We scoured the internet looking for dog friendly restaurants and cafes that welcome our furry four-legged friends with open arms. We can report back knowing that we have found nine locations with great staff and great plate options. The best part is that most to all of them have outdoor seating or an open patio. Bring your doggo's water bowl as many of the restaurants will fill it with water. We hope you and your dog enjoy the best lunch ever.
