Nearly a week after deleting her profile from the social media platform, the "Hold Me Closer" reactivated her account. The singer penned a note to her kids, whom she shares with her ex-, Kevin Federline. Britney's message to her children comes hours after Daily Mail released a written excerpt from an upcoming documentary done with her sons, along with their dad and his wife, Victoria Prince.
Jayden told the publication that he thinks his bond with his mom "can be fixed with time and effort." But he believes she has "struggled" to give both of them attention and "showing us equal love and I don't think she showed enough to Preston and I feel really bad for that. If I complained, she went after him. I feel guilty, so I am there for him," Jayden says, admitting that "mom has treated me better."
He added, "We've both been through so much pressure in the past that this is our safe place now, to process all the emotional trauma we've been through to heal, heal our mental state."
Now, Britney has responded to her sons' wishes via Instagram, writing in a lengthy post, "I've tried to my best at being the best person I can be… to be basically held hostage in homes under nurses and bulls---. I hope my kids one day understand my reasoning." She addressed her son Jayden, "I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life!!! My love for my children has no boundaries. And it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn't up to his expectations of a mother... and maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this openly!!!"
Spears then addressed Federline in the note writing, "Maybe dear child YOU can explain to me why our family would do that to anyone!!! I helped your father who hasn't had a job in 15 years... I assume it is easier for you guys not to have someone check on you to make sure you're doing your homework!!! I'm sure the standards of your dad smoking weed every day benefits your daily life at 15 and 16 to partake in a VERY COOL GENERATION!!! I completely understand your need to live with your father as I had to play the perfect role for 15 years for absolutely nothing."
At the end of the post, Spears brought the focus back to her sons, this time addressing Preston, who did not speak to the UK outlet. "I hope you can look in the mirror and remember," she wrote. "You are my child and always will be!!! Since Preston didn't speak, I send my love!!!"
Sam Asghari, Britney's husband shaded Kevin in the replies to the post writing, "Mowing the lawn > professional baby daddy."

Britney Spears has not seen her sons in five months because they feel uncomfortable around her and have received upsetting texts from her, according to ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyer.
Per gossip website TMZ, after the singer posted to Instagram (and has since deleted the post) about her relationship with her kids Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15. Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said Federline has never trash-talked her to their kids. According to Kaplan, the teenagers made the decision to stay away from their mother on their own and that they have not had a single overnight stay with Britney in years. Kaplan added that Federline believes the boys love their mom, but they're angry at her.
Kevin is annoyed Britney referred to his house as having "more weed than Ludacris, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Puff Daddy combined!!!!"
Britney's lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, released a statement in response to Kevin sharing private videos on Instagram: "Britney Spears is a brilliantly-talented, extremely-hardworking icon, who is rightfully beloved and respected by millions around the world. The same, unfortunately, can not be said about Mr. Federline, who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children."
Britney's husband Sam Asghari came to his wife's defense on Instagram, writing about Federline, "His character is revealed by approval of the cruel 13 CShip and his loyalty to Jaimie indicates his approval at time of its conception as well."
Asghari's concluded his Story with a laugh, writing, "I will not comment on this matter again except to say I have a job," with a crying laughing emoji.
