Let’s be real… There’s two things that we love in life. Drama and fast food deals. And currently, we’re getting both after Burger King made the announcement the company will be giving away free Whoppers (and Impossible Whoppers) in response to a recent announcement made by Wendy’s.

Grab your popcorn (or fast food of choice) and get ready for all of the tea on the drama that has unraveled between Wendy’s and Burger King. Wendy’s recently announced that they will be testing new features such as dynamic pricing and AI-enabled menu changes. What does this mean for you? Basically, you’re going to have to pay more for your fast food from Wendy’s based on different factors like the time of the day and the weather. Crazy, right? For a fast food company that has already seemingly raised their food prices a little too high, this announcement is very shocking and disappointing.

Insert Burger King into the equation. They also recognize how absurd this announcement is, so what did they do? They clapped back in the most epic fashion. According to People, “Burger King responded to Wendy’s “dynamic pricing” announcement with three days of free Whoppers from Feb. 28 – March 1.”
