Aimee’s W.I.N.O.S. sponsored by our friends at Foley Family Wines, was a wicked-fun time!
Our lovely host Distill Bar decked out our space in all things creepy Halloween décor fitting for the ghoulish ambiance. Distill Bar concocted a “Hocus Pocus” themed drink and a sangria that was created from their official spell book. Foley Family Wines paired our W.I.N.O.S. event with exceptional Banshee and Roth Estates Wines and we couldn’t have been more thrilled.
Banshee Sonoma County Pinot Noir was created for the unique souls. Made with macerated tart cherries, pomegranate and hints of pine. This wine screams both sweet and tart and couples as an excellent addition to small plates.
Roth Cabernet Sauvignon left a bold impression amongst our listeners. Made with black cherry, spice, cassis, plum and black currant. This wine is smooth and rich with every sip.
Lucky W.I.N.O.S. had the opportunity to mingle amongst their fellow witches, participate in the 102.7 VGS Photo Booth, win prizes and eat spook-tacular bites. On the gruesome menu featured spicy salsa and chips, green deviled eggs, seasoned ground beef, mummy dogs which are hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls. We can’t forget the sweet candy treats that were found throughout the event.
Our surprise guest performance from The Sanderson Sister Drag Show really topped the night with excitement and cheer. The ladies opened on a movie scene and danced amongst the crowd to “I Put A Spell On You” stirring up chaos. Aimee’s W.I.N.O.S. were gagged and gooped to see the trio of sisters.
The night wouldn’t be official if Aimee and her W.I.N.O.S. didn’t take a group photo. Grabbing their Roth Estates and Banshee wines, witch hats and Hocus Pocus sweaters, everyone gathered together making a memory to last a lifetime.
The VGS family was dressed to the nines in their mid-evil wardrobe from Star Costume & Theatrical Supply. Overall, Aimee’s first W.I.N.O.S. was filled with everything to make the first W.I.N.O.S. a success. If you didn’t make the first event, no worries, many more are to come.
