Fall is here, maybe not necessarily in Las Vegas weather-wise, but Halloween is just a couple of weeks away. Time to get the decorations out to get in the spirit. I am more of a straight fall decorator and skip the Halloween part. I don’t skimp on the number of pumpkins I use all over the house. My husband says he can sit in any area of the house and see at least 20 pumpkins surrounding him.

You can never have too many pumpkins.

I have a problem every year: I feel like I lose some things yearly. (Either that or my husband throws them away on me. The jury is still out)

This year I couldn’t find my centerpiece to put on my island so I had to run to the store to find a replacement one. I should have known that 99% of the fall decor in all stores has already been replaced by Christmas trees and decorations. It’s too early!!!

So I was forced to do a DIY and I am not good at DIY but this was really easy. I ran to the Dollar Store and bought the pumpkins they had left in the fall area. A glass vase there as well and some mini branch-looking thing that I found in the flower section.

They didn’t have anything that I could put the pumpkins in so I ran next door to TJ Max to see if they had anything and I found a wooden platter? Tray? Whatever you would call it for just $5.99 and I already had my glue gun at home (if you don’t they are very inexpensive you can get them anywhere if you don’t have one)

That is all I had to buy to go home for a cheap, quick, and easy DIY centerpiece to add to my fall decorations.

Check out the final product! Let me know what you think!
