Be still our high school hearts! The trio we know and love have patched things up and Blink-182 is returning with Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker… AND TOM DELONGE! They have a World Tour next year, and are dropping new music!

The band dropped the news Tuesday morning with a video that is undoubtedly Blink.

It’s them. It’s really them. Sure, they look a bit older. Sure, Travis is married to a Kardashian now BUT IT’S THEM AND WE’RE ELATED!

Why did they break up in the first place?

It was the beginning of 2015. Mark and Travis made an announcement – Tom left the band. Then Tom made an announcement – um, no. I didn’t quit. I had no plans on quitting. So… there’s some debate there.

Needless to say, Tom was taking an interesting turn personally, with a straight up fascination with UFOs and the extra-terrestrial. He co-wrote several books on the subject. He even founded a UFO research company… which published UFO videos… that the feds eventually confirmed. So, maybe he wasn’t crazy after all.

Meanwhile, Blink-182 continued on without Tom, joining forces with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba to release two albums and tour. The music was decent! But… it wasn’t Blink. Something was missing.

How’d they patch things up?

Time heals all wounds. In this case, illness may have. Back in 2021, Mark Hoppus announced he was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma and it was pretty advanced. That sparked a renewed friendship between Mark and Tom, which likely led to this reunion. Life is short. Don’t harbor grudges. We can learn a thing or two.

When is the tour? When do they come to Las Vegas?

The tour kicks off in Mexico in March, then heads stateside in May with stops in across the country including Phoenix and several stops in California.

Then it swings around to Las Vegas for When We Were Young Festival…NEXT YEAR! October 21st, 2023. They’ll be headlining the show we’d think, right?!

Here’s a look at the schedule that gets near the Southwest, just in case your pop punk heart can’t wait til October:

  • June 14th – Phoenix, Arizona – Footprint Center
  • June 16th – Los Angeles, California – Banc Of California Stadium
  • June 20th – San Diego, California – Pechanga Arena
  • June 22nd – San Jose, California – SAP Center
  • June 23rd – Sacramento, California – Golden 1 Center

In honor of the boys getting back together, here’s a look at some of our favorite Blink-182 songs of all time!

  • "All The Small Things"

The boys lampooning the boy bands of the era. Ah, this brings us back to the TRL days. A simpler time.

  • "I Miss You"

Surprisingly, “I Miss You” is the band’s most watched video. We think it might be the emo kids playing it on loop.

  • "What's My Age Again"

Seeing the boys in the buff alongside adult film star Janine Lindemulder. Her in a nurse outfit. You can’t forget it.

  • "Dammit"

The song that started it all for many. The song was used for the intro of the movie “Can’t Hardly Wait”. Also the song where that one dude you knew in high school would say “yeah Dude Ranch was such a better album, they sold out”. We all hated that kid.

  • "First Date"

A single off of the greatest named album in history, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket.

  • "The Rock Show"

The video was filmed in a very Spike Jonze, “Jackass” way, which was the look for the time. Total, hilarious anarchy.

  • "Man Overboard"

As someone that was lucky enough to see Blink in a venue this small… man. What I’d give to see that again. Arena tours are fun, but dingy hole in the wall venues? That’s their natural habitat.

  • "Adam's Song"

Loneliness inspires great music. That’s what inspired this song from Mark’s pen.

  • "Always"

The video is both amazing and disorienting.

  • "Stay Together For The Kids"

Something Blink has decided to do after all. Even though all of their kids have kids now.

  • "Feeling This"

A bit of a harder, edgier track for the boys. Also starts off with our barber shop nightmare.
