‘The Twilight Zone’: First Preview “Interrupts” Super Bowl Broadcast
The first preview for the reboot of The Twilight Zone didn’t feature any episode clips, but its 60-second spot scored major points in setting the mood for the series.
Embedded below, the preview did a faux-interruption on the Super Bowl broadcast and caused the raucous crowd to vanish. The series’ new host, Jordan Peele, then utters the following:
“Witness an empty space filled with thousands of screaming people. A man, both nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Answers are new questions. The unthinkable is the expected. When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?”
One thing’s for certain: For those that don’t already subscribe to CBS’ All Access streaming service, subscriptions will likely go up after tonight.
The Twilight Zone premieres April 1 on CBS All Access.
