Mountain Dew Is About To Release A Hot Sauce with Joel Embiid

If taking a swig from your cold Mountain Dew makes you think of spicy food, then you're in luck. The soda company has announced they are getting into the hot sauce business with NBA player Joel Embiid.

They shared the news about the Mountain Dew hot sauce on social media. They said "#DEWnation: It’s time to fire up your taste buds with an explosion of the DEW flavor you know and love. We’re partnering with @JoelEmbiid and sauce experts @iBurn to release a limited edition MTN DEW Hot Sauce. Help us choose the flavor - voting ends September 30th."

Fans can choose one of four flavors: Peri-Peri, Fatalii, Habanero, or Datil. So far, habanero is winning.

According to The Takeout, Joel Embiid, who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, is the perfect person to create a Mountain Dew hot sauce. That's because he once appeared on an episode of Hot Ones and ate all ten chicken wings, including one doused in a sauce that measured 2,000,000+ on the Scoville scale.
