Nick Cannon's youngest child, Zen Cannon, has died from a brain tumor.

Nick made the heartbreaking announcement on The Nick Cannon Show Tuesday revealing that his five-month-old son Zen Cannon has passed away. Nick disclosed that Zen's condition began to worsen around Thanksgiving and the tumor began to grow quickly.

Nick says he spent last weekend in California with his son, and on Sunday they took a trip to the ocean where Nick held Zen for the last time, he died soon after.

Nick told the audience that when he was about 2 months old, Zen started to develop what they originally thought was a sinus issue, noticing that his head seemed large. Doctors told Nick and his mother model Alyssa Scott that fluid had started to build up in Zen's head, where they discovered a tumor, which required immediate surgery.

Zen was Nick's 7th child, born earlier this year with model Alyssa Scott. He was one of Nick's four kids born earlier this year and a half, twins Zillion and Zion were born in June, and his daughter, Powerful, last December.

Nick and Alyssa kept the diagnosis of Zen's condition private until the heartbreaking news shared today.

"I have so much faith in God," Nick said adding, "People are telling me I should pray for miracles and I did pray for the miracle, I prayed for the miracle of God's strength."
