New Emoji Coming Soon To A Device Near You

There are over 3,600 emoji… so what’s another 31. The group that approves emoji, the Unicode Consortium, are likely to approve nearly all of the 31 being considered. Among the tiny images? A face shaking “no”, a high five emoji, and a donkey. There’s also a goose, which Shawn recently realized was missing from the emoji list when talking about Aimee’s dreaded goose on Rampart story.
Here’s some more newbie emoji that could be coming to a device near you: a pink, gray and light blue heart, hair pick, the wi-fi symbol (yeah it wasn’t there before), maracas, ginger, and a “Khanda” (symbol representing the Sikh religion). Plus, a whole bunch of animals including a donkey, jellyfish, moose and black bird.
MEN LIKE WOMEN WITH POOR GRAMMAR
Here’s a story that will cram it in the face of the artificial intelligence we use to grade these articles. Turns out men prefer women with poor grammar. According to a new survey from ProWritingAid, guys are somewhat less drawn to well-written dating profiles. Women are a little more choosy, with 63 percent of them saying grammar is important. Men that had good grammar in their profiles got over 300% more matches.
MISSING DOG WINS DOG SHOW
By the time you’re done reading this, this will be a Animal Planet movie. A 5-year-old beagle mix named Bonnie vanished from the yard of a family in the UK. They searched high and low, but Bonnie was nowhere to be found. Turns out, she escaped out of an open gate.
While they were on the search for their missing dog, a guy named John was driving his two dogs to a dog show. He spotted Bonnie and picked her up bringing her along. He posted her picture to Facebook, where her owners spotted her and they agreed to pick up their dog after the dog show. Well, you know what happened next. John put Bonnie in the dog show. She finished third in the Best Rescue Dog competition.
