Flirting On LinkedIn? Women Say It’s A Real Problem
LINKEDIN IS NOT TINDER
The hashtag #BeProfessional was going throughout LinkedIn over the weekend. Why? People, mostly women, saying that they are constantly propositioned on the professional social media app. One person in particular posted a screenshot of a man saying he had a “huge LinkedIn crush” on her. Others shared their stories as well, putting a spotlight on the pathetic losers that can make even LinkedIn a pretty terrible place to be.
LinkedIn representatives had this to say: “It’s a clear violation of our policies to send unwanted, inappropriate messages on LinkedIn, and we will take action to help keep conversations safe. As a professional network, our members expect their experience on LinkedIn to be professional in nature. We’ve also added reminders to keep posts, comments, and messages appropriate, like sharing and gaining expertise or acquiring new skills, and added in-line warnings on messages that may be inappropriate.”
Screenshot and post, everyone. Screenshot and post. Let us see these knuckleheads.
LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL IS THE BEST
While professional baseball players are often highlighted for their tempers, large salaries and totally natural 38 inch arms, there is something so innocent and awesome about Little League baseball. Tuesday in Waco, Texas, at a regional tournament game, pitcher Kaiden Shelton had a nasty 0-2 pitch get away from him, and it hit the helmet of batter Isaiah Jarvis. Isaiah slunk down to the ground, coaches ran out, but thankfully he was fine. He made his way to first base, but Kaiden, the pitcher, was really shaken up by the moment, in tears. Isaiah called time, walked to the mound and consoled the pitcher, telling him “Hey, you’re doing great”. Kids are awesome.

ARRESTED FOR SINGING
As bad as you are at karaoke night, chances are you may never be this bad. Bangladesh social media star “Hero” Alom was brought into his local police department last week and, according to the singer, “mentally tortured” by authorities. They told him to stop singing (badly) classical songs, that he was “too ugly to be a singer” and he was forced to sign an apology. They also told him to stop wearing police uniforms in his videos. A Chief Detective in the department told AFP “We received many complaints against him… he assured us that he won’t repeat this”.
