Elton was at a restaurant in Cannes, at La Guerite when he decided to jump up in the DJ booth and play the unreleased song in its entirety for everyone there, and by the looks of the crowd dancing and singing along it's going to be a jam.

Right after Elton posted a quick teaser as to when the song is coming out to the song on his Instagram page and shared a lot of the diner's Instagram stories onto his from the restaurant.
Sir Elton John and Britney Spears's collaboration 'Hold Me Closer' comes out on Friday, August 26th, 2022! We have heard teases about the song for months and we finally get it in its entirety this week.
Elton has raved about having Britney on this track since they first announced it. It's Britney's first track since 2016 and the first out of her conservatorship. They weren't actually together but from what you can hear in the Instagram stories it sounds pretty flawless.
Elton sang along for some of the song and also let it play alone.
He yelled out before the track starts "Britney Spears Elton John, Lets Go!"
It's safe to say that Elton is as excited to release this song as we are to hear it.
