It’s that time of year again! Spooky season is upon us, and the North Las Vegas Police Department has announced that it will be hosting its 22nd annual Safe Halloween event.

A drive-in, double feature movie night will be held at the West Wind Drive-In on Wednesday, October 26th. As always, the event is free for children 12 and under, who must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. Here are all the details you need to know about this year’s Safe Halloween event!

What to Expect

According to Fox 5, the Safe Halloween event is free to the public (woop woop). However, tickets are required in order to enter the event. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and the first movie, “Scoob!” will begin at 6:30 p.m. The second film, “Uncharted,” is expected to start at 8:30 p.m.

The first 400 vehicles with a valid ticket will be admitted, and each car will receive a bag of candy and a coupon for one free tub of popcorn. In addition to the candy and popcorn provided, there will be on-site vendors sharing additional goodies. So whether you’re driving in alone or with a group of friends, it's sure to be boo-koos of fun!

How to Get Your Ticket

It's important to register for your ticket ASAP. Those interested and planning to attend should register by visiting the NLVPD Eventbrite page. PLEASE NOTE: Only one registration is needed per vehicle and no duplicate names will be accepted. These tickets are very limited, so be sure not to dilly dally.

Get your tickets today and enjoy a fun and safe Halloween!

There are three new 'frightfully festive floats', this spooktacular family-friendly parade will fill the streets of Downtown Summerlin with mischievous mayhem featuring dancing zombies, ghosts, witches, wizards, and more!

The Halloween Parade in Downtown Summerlin is the perfect event for families looking to enjoy some quality time together. The parade features a wide variety of floats and costumes, plus it's FREE! And if you get there early, you can grab dinner from one of the many delicious restaurants in Downtown Summerlin. We like to go to Bonanno's and grab a couple of slices of pizza and eat it right there on the street while we wait for the parade to start.

Don't miss out on the fun!

The Halloween Parade of Mischief in Downtown Summerlin is the perfect way to enjoy some quality family time. With tons of floats and costumes, there's something for everyone. Make sure you take a walk around Downtown Summerlin at some point also, because they have cute little photo op stations set up and have decorated so nicely.

Mom hack: After the parade was over my three-year-old, Roman, and my nephew (also 3) wanted to go to Dave and Buster's. We didn't want to buy a bunch of coins because they are only interested in each game for a couple of seconds, so we just let them run around and let him think they were playing and racing. If they are young enough to be fooled... try it!

Have a great FREE family night at the Parade of Mischief this weekend.
