Kylie Jenner Addresses Face Surgery Accusations

Kylie Jenner is addressing accusations of having cosmetic surgery on her face. In a new cover feature for HommeGirls, she discussed how she used her insecurities to create her empire.

Jenner, 25, opened up about her "really small lips." She says that her lip kits were her gateway to the beauty industry. During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion, Jenner discussed it. She said she never thought about her small lips until a guy she kissed pointed it out. "I had an insecurity because this guy said something to me one time," she said in 2021. "Then I got an obsession with makeup because I would overline my lips and it just made me feel confident."

Kylie previously admitted to having lip fillers on a 2015 episode of KUWTK. "I have temporary lip fillers. It's just an insecurity of mine, and it's... what I wanted to do. I'm just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet because everyone always picks us apart," she said. "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything."

In her new feature for HommeGirls, the mother of two said, "I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t!" Kylie admits that she loves full lips, "but growing up, I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone."

She went on to say that getting lip filler was "the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute." When it comes to her latest makeup routine, Jenner says less is more. "I’ve really gotten down my full look," she told the publication. "It’s still the same look but way less. I’m just embracing my natural beauty, my freckles and my bushy brows.
