Across the news, all over the internet – All of the buzz as of recent has has been the OceanGate Titanic Sub. The pure tragedy behind this venture has been devastating to say the least, and one famous YouTube Star, MrBeast, has revealed that he narrowly avoided the OceanGate tragedy himself.
According to a tweet from his account, MrBeast was invited onto the OceanGate Titanic Sub. “I was invited earlier this month to ride the titanic submarine, I said no. Kind of scary that I could have been on it”
This news came as a shock to fans around the world, knowing that one of their most loved and cherished YouTube creators could have ultimately met his fate in the tragic ending of the OceanGate voyage. Fortunately, the highly-successful Youtuber decided to ultimately decline the invitation and did not end up among the small group that voyaged down to the remains of the Titanic.
It has also been revealed that a local Las Vegas investor and his 20-year-old son were also almost committed to boarding the OceanGate Titanic sub. Jay Bloom and his son, Sean, had their reservations about the trip, and the pair ultimately declined the offer.
The immense amount of tragedy surrounding the OceanGate Titanic Sub has taken the nation and the world by the heart. And to know that MrBeast was almost aboard the craft has taken the internet by storm. Thank goodness the viral creator trusted his gut and ultimately went with his instincts on the matter.
