Las Vegas is no stranger to delicious Hawaiian food chains. From Aloha Kitchen to L & L Hawaiian Barbeque and numerous additional spots in between, the ninth island reigns as home to some of the best Hawaiian cuisine out there, especially on the mainland.

But now, Las Vegas locals are filled with excitement as one of the best Hawaiian cuisine spots in Hawaii, Zippy's, has announced its official opening date right here in the Las Vegas Valley.

Las Vegas will officially see the doors open to the first Zippy's location in the valley on October 10th at 10:10 a.m. While we still have a bit of a wait until its open for business, find your patience and solace in the fact that this first location really couldn't be any more conveniently placed in the city. A fairly convenient drive from all portions of the Las Vegas Valley, the new Zippy's location will be found at 7095 Badura Avenue. Hop off the Rainbow Boulevard exit on the 215 beltway, head down Badura Avenue just south of the Arroyo Market Square, and there she will be! A brand new location built from the ground up.

Las Vegas' first Zippy's location will actually go down in history not only as the first location in Sin City, but as the first location in the continental U.S. The chain maintains a wide presence in Hawaii with 22 locations spread between the islands of Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii.

Interested in working at Las Vegas' first Zippy's location? They're looking for some rockin' employees to help the new restaurant soar and live up to the excitement! Zippy's will be holding an all-day hiring event on Tuesday, August 15th from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Zippy’s Hiring Center, located at 4590 S Hualapai Way. The company is looking to fill a wide range of positions for this legendary location, from both front-of-house and back-of-house positions to management and central kitchen openings.

Tahiti Village Summer Luau: 102.7 VGS Takeover

We are now making this our summer Sunday tradition! Tahiti Village is the best family-friendly resort. If you're looking for something fun and entertaining, you found your next adventure.

Aimee from Aimee+Shawn, immersed herself within all things island life. She witnessed mesmerizing hula auana, homemade crafts, flavorful plates, sweet desserts and so much more. The Tahiti Village Summer Luau starts at 6:00 p.m. but the night market starts at 4:30 p.m. Despite the sun still shining, the resort offers shade and comfort for all guests.

Food is a love language that Tahiti Village knows how to speak very well. The Summer luau featured a spectacular buffet with options for everyone. Of course, they offered island staples including: Kalua pork, baked chicken, rice, mac salad and Hawaiian rolls. The mac salad was Aimee's favorite.

Attendees and the entire VGS staff got to watch hand-made leis being created with precision and delicacy. But that's not all! America's Got Talent, Clint Carvalho and bird-friend Peaches The Parrot also performed giving the audience a sight to see. Aimee got to dance with Peaches. And just so you know, Peaches loves wine just as much as Aimee. #Besties4Lyfe

Beautiful Tahitian, Hawaiian, and Samoan dancers took the stage to grace the audience with heritage, story and love. We can't forget about the fire dancers. Their expert technique and skills captured guests attention as fire flung through the air. Megan, our street teamer was very impressed.

Island music filled the air as guests walked around, ate and shopped. The resort staff is very helpful and can answer any of your questions. This Luau is a special experience that will leave you and your family with memories forever.

We hope to see you next Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the Tahiti Village Summer Luau! Oh, and parking is FREE! You heard that right, FREE.
