Microphone Thrown By Cardi B In Las Vegas To Be Auctioned For Charity
Let’s paint the scene – it’s a typical, exciting Saturday night at Drai’s Beachclub on the Las Vegas Strip. Cardi B is performing her hit “Bodak Yellow” on stage. The energy is high, and fans are absolutely loving every second of her performance. One fan gets a little too excited and completely splashes their drink up on stage directly onto Cardi B. She gets furious, takes her microphone, and throws it at the fan. If you’ve missed the headlines and the circulating videos of the incident, this is indeed a true story, having occurred on Saturday, July 29th. However, it seems as though this unfortunate situation will luckily have a happy ending, as the microphone that was hurled at a fan will allegedly be auctioned off with the money raised going to charity!

According to News 3, a gentleman named Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave Inc., is technically the owner of the now-famous thrown microphone. Rather than trying to make a fat profit off of the infamous Cardi B mic, he’s decided to try and make a charitable donation with the money made through auctioning it off. As for which charity will receive the funds raised through the auction of Cardi B’s microphone, it has not yet been released. Hopefully it will be a local Southern Nevada non-profit that is the grateful recipient.
How much is he hoping to make through auctioning off the microphone? Fingers crossed – he’s hoping to auction it for about $5,000 to ultimately make an epic charitable donation. Hopefully, he’s able to make even more! I mean… this mic was not only held but absolutely YEETED by Cardi B. The piece of technology will go down in history. It’s a national treasure!
All is well that ends well, and so long as no one was hurt in the debacle, it sounds like this story will ultimately have a very happy, charitable ending.
