Got Something To Say To CCSD? Say It To Their Face
If you have a kid in the Clark County School District, chances are you have a lot of opinions. From the way the district spends (and doesn’t spend) money to the lacking test scores and safety on campus. Well, if you are the parent of a student in CCSD, the district is asking for your feedback, as CCSD has opened a new, annual survey to parents and guardians.
From now until December 15th, parents and guardians of CCSD students will be able to tee off on how they feel about the school district and where it is putting its time and energy. The survey is not anonymous (you’ll need to confirm some information about your child to confirm you’re eligible to take the survey). However they do say it is confidential.
What topics are being addressed in the CCSD survey?
There are a lot of topics covered in the survey, which is expected to take around 10 minutes to complete. Among the questions you can weigh-in on are:
– My child’s school informs me how fundraising monies are used.
– I feel welcome at my child’s school.
– The staff at my child’s school really values my input and opinions.
– The Clark County School District is transparent and open about how it operates.
– My child feels safe at school.
Now, obviously, you may have some strong opinions on some of these questions depending on your child’s situation. That’s why CCSD holds this annual survey to get a better gauge on what parents are feeling. Unfortunately, it is just a survey and not an invitation to write your opinions. But if you feel strongly one way or another, your voice matters.
If you are interested in taking part in the Clark County School District survey, you can visit the CCSD website. The survey is only for those with skin in the game (a kid going to school in the district).
