Circa Las Vegas Hosts Bikini Contest In Winter
While most believe the Las Vegas desert remains fiery hot year around, the temperature actually drops considerably in the winter. It’s rare to see anyone basking in the sun or enjoying a pool day during the wintertime, but one Vegas property believes that pool time should be year-round! Circa Resort & Casino is home to Stadium Swim, an outdoor venue featuring six luxurious heated pools, and property recently hosted its annual Winter Swim Bikini Contest to an incredible turnout. I had the pleasure of judging, and let me tell you… It was an unforgettable experience for all.
What Were The Criteria Used To Judge?
On Saturday, February 3rd, 36 lovely women lined up donning their best bikini to walk across the stage, strut down the runway, and win over a panelist of six judges. As for the judges, we had a very difficult job judging all of the beautiful contestants.
Ultimately, we were judging on three specific categories – physique, charisma, and bikini. Overall physique included how toned the contestants were and how they ultimately showed off their beautiful bodies. Charisma came down to how they worked that stage. Did they make eye contact with the judges and own the runway with confidence? If they did, they certainly scored high in that category!
The bikini category was solely judging the bikini itself. Did the contestant choose a bikini perfect for the stage and one that showed off their best features? Ultimately, every contestant looked gorgeous, and more importantly, had a gorgeous personality. While judging the bikini contest, all of their individual personalities shined through, and every contestant was so supportive of one another!
The Overall Bikini Contest Experience
Ultimately, it was very difficult to declare a first, second, and third place winner, but the score sheets did all of the work for us. The third place winner was awarded $2,000, the second place winner walked away with $3,000, and the first place winner cashed in an extra large check for $10,000.
It was such an exciting event for all, with hundreds showing up to support these stunning women as they worked the stage with confidence. In my eyes, that was the most special aspect of the entire experience. Watching the bikini contest contestants showcase their hard work, shine with confidence, and support one another as the contest ensued was an honor, and I look forward to supporting these lovely women again next year!
