Many Las Vegas Resorts will support displaced victims of the California wildfires by offering discounted room rates.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, South Point Hotel Casino & Spa and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will offer discounted room rates for Californians who are escaping the fires.
News 3 said for Resorts World, the special rate can only be booked by phone. To book, "call (702) 676-7000 and mention the LA Support Rate." The rate will be 35% off rooms. Treasure Island will be giving wildfire evacuees a $79 room rate now through Jan. 31.
"To book, residents must call +1 800.288.7206 and mention they are calling for this specific rate," Channel 13 reports.
Virgin Hotels went even further - cutting prices in half and dropping parking fees for stays into February, The Las Vegas Review-Journal states. The new Fontainebleau is offering lower rates whenever rooms become available. At Treasure Island, evacuees from California can get rooms for just $79 through January. South Point got rid of resort fees and lowered prices until the end of the month.
Airbnb is also giving free and temporary shelter for those evacuating from the fires. They've teamed up with a local non-profit to connect people.
Impacted residents can request assistance for temporary housing support from Airbnb.org by filling out this intake form with 211 LA.
Overall, if you call any of the properties listed above and mention that you're evacuating the wildfires then that's how you can secure the discounted rate. Most of these rates are no available online.,

Devastating Fires in Southern California: Heartbreaking Photos Show Widespread Destruction
Devastating brush fires are sweeping across Southern California, claiming five lives and reducing thousands of buildings to ash.
The LA Times reports three major fires happening as of Wednesday: The Palisades Fire, the Eaton Fire and the Hurst Fire. The Palisades Fire is the largest, scorching over 15,800 acres. The Eaton Fire has consumed more than 10,000 acres, while the Hurst Fire has burned 700 acres.
Officials have issued evacuation orders in Calabasas, Malibu, Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre, NBC reports. And surrounding areas in the region have been told to "stay ready."
Fierce Santa Ana Winds Fuel Brush Fire's Relentless Spread
Pasadena Fire Chief Chad Augustin said the Eaton Fire was at 0% containment during a press conference around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. He also said this was the "worst case scenario."
The strong Santa Ana Winds in Southern California further helped the embers spread, aiding the fire to unfurl and grow rapidly, Chief Augustin said.
Iconic structures and buildings across Pacific Coast Highway have burnt completely, leaving steel exoskeletons and bare construction beams. NBC also reports a "preliminary review from J.P. Morgan's insurance analysts estimated that losses from the fires could top $10 billion."
24 school districts in Los Angeles County canceled classes and activities on Wednesday, and most likely will continue to cancel school until the fire is safely contained.
