With a name like “Vegas Thrill,” it’s no surprise we have high expectations and numerous questions about Las Vegas’ newest professional sports team. The Vegas Thrill are a part of the Pro Volleyball Federation, and, according to their official website, the seventh team named for the professional league’s first season in action. There’s no doubt that the new pro volleyball team will be a huge thrill as they take the court in Las Vegas!
When And Where Will Vegas Thrill Debut?
Fortunately, if you’re eager to catch Las Vegas’ professional volleyball team in action, you won’t have to wait too long or travel too far. The team will be debuting in 2024, and the season ticket interest form is officially open to the public on the team’s official website. As for where the team will call home in the great city of Las Vegas, the Vegas Thrill’s home games will be played at The Dollar Loan Center located in Henderson, a home-arena the team will share with the Henderson Silver Knights.
Who Owns Las Vegas’ Newest Professional Sports Team?
As we know, it takes a great deal of owners and deals on the table to make a professional sports team happen. The Vegas Thrill’s ownership stems from two individuals. News 3 reports “The group is led by local political leader Andy Abboud, an executive for Las Vegas Sands, and former Nebraska Attorney General and Founder and Managing Partner of the nationally acclaimed Bruning Law Group, Jon Bruning. Abboud and Bruning now partner with the Foley Entertainment Group (FEG), who operates the city’s beloved Vegas Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights, and City+Ventures, a national investment and business acceleration organization who is investing in women’s professional volleyball in the United States.” It’s because of these two individuals and the partnerships they have attained that Las Vegas will welcome it’s first professional volleyball team in 2024. Welcome, Vegas Thrill!
