As 2022 comes to an end we want to relive our TOP 10 best moments with you. It’s because of you these stories are a success. We thought it was only right that we relive them once more for good time sake.
It was a busy year for team VGS as we continued our legacy in providing you the best in ’90s to now!
Our brand had a relaunch with a new morning show, Aimee+Shawn, along with a new midday host, Cameron and a new evening host, Sammi Reeves.
We wanted to create some fun memories with listeners while also participating in events around the city. Here are a few that we wanted to highlight:
We gave away tickets to many of your favorite shows including: Ed Sheeran, Jonas Brothers, Bad Bunny, MAX and many many other talented artists.
Aimee hosted her first ever WINOS event at Distill – A Local Bar which turned out a success. The spook-tacular theme set the tone for the HP viewing party.
We held out first cluster radio event called Paws In The Park 2022 at Desert Breeze Park. We couldn’t have done it without Best Mattress, KTNV, NSPCA, and Clark County Parks and Recreation. Over 100 dogs got adopted from our event and we couldn’t be happier.
We held a “What’s Up, Turkey Butt” contest where five lucky listeners won their way in to win tickets to see Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and/or P!NK. But it wasn’t that simple… The listeners were invited to the station to stick their hands up literal turkey butts to secure a random ticket prize. You butterball-ieve it was a sight to see and smell!
Aimee and Sammi hosted the 54th Annual Electric Santa Night Parade in Boulder City, Nevada. 90 floats cruised downtown Boulder and the city locals came out to experience the spectacle.
We were very excited to take over Boulder City, Nevada for Boulder City’s Best Dam Wine Walk! Lucky WINOS and DINOS listeners got the chance to take the wine journey with Aimee or drink beers with Shawn at the local Boulder City Brew Co. Everybody looked festive in their “ugly” sweaters!
