Love her or hate her, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is back and ready to stir the pot in an unexpected reunion with the Jersey Shore crew. In a plot twist that not only shocked fans but the cast of the show itself, Sammi surprised everyone on set last week and made sure everyone knew she was back in town. From wild reactions to happy tears, all of it was captured on camera and will be featured in the second half of season 6.
Sammi’s history with the rest of the cast hasn’t always been great.
Most people know Sammi as one of the original stars from MTVβs hit reality series Jersey Shore. She appeared in all six seasons of the show alongside fellow cast members Pauly D, JWoww, Snooki, The Situation, and Vinny. During her time on the show, she became known for her dramatic love triangle with Ronnie Magro and for being somewhat of a βtough loveβ type figure among the group. While she left Jersey Shore after six seasons to focus on personal growth and business opportunities (she now owns her own fashion line), it appears that she has finally decided to reunite with her old squad.
It’s True: Sammi is Back
Though there wasnβt any prior warning that she would be returning to set, sources close to the production tell us that Sammi showed up unannounced last week and completely blew everyone away. Her return is and was so exciting that it will be featured heavily during this season as we get to witness first-hand how everyone reacts to seeing her after all these years. There were plenty of hugs and happy tears flowing around as they celebrated this unexpected reunion – though who knows what kind of drama will come out of it? What is the vibe going to be with Ronnie?
We can hardly contain our excitement at seeing Sammi Sweetheart make a return to Jersey Shore! After taking some much needed time away from reality TV life, it seems like she made a U-turn just when we least expected it – which makes us wonder what else is in store for us during this season.
