Las Vegas: Reid International Ranked 5th Best Airport In North America

We already know Harry Reid International Airport is poppin'. With the thousands upon thousands of travelers that wander through the numerous concourses on a daily basis, the Las Vegas airport really has no choice but to be on top of it's game. As a Vegas resident, I still walk through the place in awe. It's always clean, TSA is always efficient, and it's pretty easy to navigate compared to other major airports. I give Reid International an A+, and so did thousands of other travelers in a recent study completed by travelers.
According to the new J.D. Power survey, Las Vegas' international airport has ranked among the best of the best airports in North America, with Harry Reid International Airport securing the #5 spot for "mega airports." Mega airports are defined as airports that have 33 million travelers or more in a given year.
The 2022 North American Airport Satisfaction Study for "mega airports" is based on overall customer satisfaction, specifically looking at terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check, and food, beverage, and retail. According to News 3, "The study is based on more than 26,000 completed surveys from U.S. or Canadian residents or traveled through at least one airport in recent weeks."
I totally believe our Las Vegas airport deserved that top ranking spot. Harry Reid International sees an INSANE amount of travelers day-in and day-out, year after year. So many are traveling to and from our beautiful city for the Vegas experience itself, but many others make stops at the airport during layovers. Regardless of passengers' reasons for travel into Las Vegas, I'm honored that our airport has ranked among the best North America has to offer. So. Deserved. Congrats to all of those that have made Harry Reid International Airports the incredible travel hub that it is.
Check out which airports in North America also cracked the top 5:

Ranked: Nevada Among Top 10 States With Worst Road Rage
We all have our road rage tendencies. Some of us are milder than others, but we all get aggravated when we get cut off by another car. It's human nature. However, some of us respond in more confrontational ways than others. I usually keep it together pretty well and try to be understanding. We all make mistakes. But when a fellow driver sharing the road does something absolutely idiotic, I am not afraid to lay on the horn. It's there for a reason, right?
According to a new survey from Forbes Advisor, some states are home to more aggressive drivers who struggle to maintain their composure behind the wheel than others. This survey counted actions such as horn honking, rude gestures, and aggressive behaviors due to road rage. And, of course, after analyzing 10 key metrics from a survey of 5,000 drivers across the nation, Nevada's community of licensed drivers earned our state a spot on yet another top 10 list.
Driving in Las Vegas is literally one of the scariest everyday tasks I complete. I always wonder before a drive if I'm going to make it safely to my location. That thought runs through my mind. Everyday. There's no way to know for certain, no matter what state you're in or where you're going. But the ridiculousness on our roads and the road rage that results can be pretty terrifying and puts so many in danger.
That said, Nevada is actually not the #1 state with the most confrontational drivers, according to this survey. Some of the top 10 genuinely surprised me... I wasn't expecting to see Oklahoma pop up on the list. And I CERTAINLY wasn't expecting the #1 state to be what it is. However, I would've bet my next paycheck that New York had earned a top rank. Surprisingly, they aren't on the list.
Do you agree with this ranking? See where Nevada fell in the top 10 states with the worst road rage:
10) Delaware

Oh, Delaware. It's not that deep. Remain calm, and drive on.
9) Washington

I'm actually shocked by this one. I thought Washington would've been home to a vast majority of calmer drivers...
8) Indiana

Chill out, Indiana.
7) Maryland

I've visited Maryland a few times. I must've encountered the milder drivers.
6) Nevada

Ah, our sweet "Silver State." Couldn't have seen this one coming, huh?
5) New Mexico

The one experience I've had driving through New Mexico, I was, in fact, the victim of some road rage-driven confrontation. So I'd consider this one accurate, in my book.
4) Oklahoma

I've never visited Oklahoma, but I've always pictured it's residents as very calm people. I don't know. Apparently, I am wrong.
3) Colorado

Welcome to "Colorful Colorado," where the language can get colorful behind the wheel.
2) Missouri

I had no idea that Missouri drivers could be so... angry.
1) Utah

Maybe I've just been lucky on my trips to Utah... but this shocks me.
