Despite the multiple offers. In an interview with the New York Post, Paula said that although she loved watching the show and is a big fan, but she felt that the drama was too much for her to handle.
For those who don't know, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' is a reality TV show that follows the lives of women living in Beverly Hills, California. It's the OG of Real Housewives. There have since been multiple others like New Jersey and New York. The show has been on air since 2010 and has gained a massive following over the years. But, it's also known for its off-screen drama, and fights, which are often caught on camera. Given this reputation, it's not surprising that Paula decided to pass on the offer...Multiple times.
In her interview with the New York Post, Paula said that although she enjoyed watching the show, she didn't want to be caught up in the drama that comes with it. She stated, "It's a lot of drama, and I don't like drama." Paula has been in the entertainment industry for a long time and has obviously dealt with her fair share of drama. So, it's understandable why she would want to avoid it in her personal life.
Learning to prioritize our mental health and well-being over the need to be in the spotlight can lead to a more fulfilling life.
Paula's decision to reject the offer to join 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' to me, makes her look far superior than most people who would take it for the paycheck... Despite being a successful and popular celebrity, she values her mental health and overall well-being over fame and money. It takes a lot of self-awareness to make that decision, especially in a world where reality TV is so hot right now. When people see you on reality TV they think success.
We live in a world where we're bombarded with drama, negativity, and chaos on a daily basis. It can be challenging to stay away from it all, especially when we're constantly exposed to it through social media and news outlets. Paula says save that drama for yo mama and leave me alone ;)
