Taylor Swift is an unapologetically confident and successful woman, and she celebrates that fact in her music. In a world where we are often told to play it small and not rock the boat, Taylor embraces her femininity and uses it to her advantage. She isn’t afraid to write songs about her exes or call out sexist double standards in the music industry — and she does it all with a sense of humor and wit.

But beyond just being a powerful role model for women everywhere, Taylor’s music is also just plain good. Her catchy pop hooks and relatable lyrics have helped her become one of the best-selling artists of all time, and there’s a reason why her fans are so fiercely loyal. Because when you listen to a Taylor Swift song, you can’t help but feel understood. You always feel like you have a friend in Taylor Swift. And in a world that so often tells us we need to be someone other than ourselves, that feeling is priceless.

It’s no wonder that so many of us have totally fallen in love with the singer and her numerous successful albums. In fact, the widespread popularity of her most recent album released, "Midnights," along with the Ticketmaster disaster that ensued over her upcoming tour caused USBettingReport.com to check out which of Taylor Swift's albums was most popular in each of the 50 states.

The results of each state's favorite Taylor Swift album are reflective of the period prior to “Midnights.” With so many albums of hers for "Swifties" to enjoy, the results were actually consistent, with each of the 50 state's favorites being one of six albums.

20 Pop Songs That Turn 10 in 2023

2013 was such a good year for pop music. Drake, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Lorde, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Britney Spears all had new albums that dominated the airwaves. We're definitely still listening to a lot (okay, most) of these pop hits from 2013, which turn ten years old in 2023!

Take a look below at some of 2013's biggest hits:

#thatPower - will.i.am ft. Justin Bieber

Bieber lent his voice on this dance track off of will.i.am's fourth studio album, #willpower.

All Of Me - John Legend

This R&B hit is from Legend's fourth studio album, Love in the Future. The album was executive produced by Legend, Kanye West and Dave Tozer, featuring guest appearances from Kimbra, Rick Ross, Stacy Barthe and Seal.

Applause - Lady Gaga

"Applause" was Gaga's lead single from her third studio album, Artpop. Gaga began planning the project in 2011, shortly after the launch of her second effort, Born This Way.

Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" became the subject of a legal dispute with the family of Marvin Gaye and Bridgeport Music, who argued the song infringed on copyrights to Gaye's 1977 single "Got to Give It Up." On top of that, model Emily Ratajkowski accused Thicke of sexually assaulting her on the music video set, alleging that he groped her bare breasts from behind during the filming.

Dark Horse - Katy Perry

"Dark Horse" is from Perry's fourth studio album, Prism, which was initially planned to be "darker" than her previous material. Prism ultimately became a prominently dance-inspired record.

Drunk In Love - Beyoncé ft. JAY Z

Beyoncé's self-titled fifth studio album gave us this awesome collab with husband Jay-Z as well as "Partition," "Pretty Hurts," "XO" and "Flawless."

Get Lucky - Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers

Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" is from their fourth (and seemingly final) studio album, inspired by late '70s and early '80s American music from Los Angeles.

Heart Attack - Demi Lovato

"Heart Attack" comes from Demi's fourth studio album Demi, where she wanted to change her sound from her self-described "generic" third album Unbroken. Lovato wanted her fourth album to "have songs that excited her."

Help Me Lose My Mind - Disclosure

Disclosure's Settle album is the electronic music duo's best musical work by far, with "Help Me Lose My Mind" being the best of all.

Hold On, We’re Going Home - Drake ft. Majid Jordan

Drake's third studio album Nothing Was the Same gave us all his best hits with "Started From The Bottom," "Worst Behavior," and "All Me."

Loyal - Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne & Tyga

Chris Brown had dudes all over singing "These girls ain't loyal" all year long in 2013.

Mirrors - Justin Timberlake

From Timberlake's third studio album The 20/20 Experience, "Mirrors" is the far superior song choice to his collab with Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie." Though the music video for "Suit & Tie" was great, the song is quite annoying. "Mirrors" is a song for the ages.

Royals - Lorde

Lorde emerged on the music scene with Pure Heroine and gave us an amazing debut album. "Royals" made her a star pretty quickly.

Sweater Weather - The Neighbourhood

Every time the weather gets below 70 degrees, this song is sure to come on.

The Way - Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller

Mac Miller and Ariana Grande met in 2012 when the two covered “Baby It's Cold Outside.” A year later, they collaborated again in "The Way," from Grande's debut studio album Yours Truly. The two didn't start dating until August 2016 and ended the relationship in May 2018.

The Worst - Jhené Aiko

"The Worst" is arguably the best song off of Aiko's debut EP Sail Out. The album has notable features with Vince Staples, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Ab-Soul.

Work - Iggy Azalea

We love how this song has made its comeback on TikTok with hilarious videos of people walking "a mile in these Louboutins."

Work Bitch - Britney Spears

This is the best song to work out to. Thank you, Britney Spears!

Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus

You could not escape this song in 2013 even if you tried. From the memes to the media fixation with Miley Cyrus during this era, "Wrecking Ball" will forever be a part of pop culture history.

Young And Beautiful - Lana Del Rey

Sad girl Lana Del Rey walked so that girls like Phoebe Bridgers and Olivia Rodrigo could run.

Best Pop Songs of 2022, Ranked

2022 has been a great year for pop music, so we made a list of all the best songs that resonated with us. Though there were some amazing albums like The Weeknd's Dawn FM and Beyonce's Renaissance, we selected one song from each album to have a wide-ranging list.

Take a look below at our list of the best pop songs to come out in 2022:

16. Bad Habit - Steve Lacy

Steve Lacy's "Bad Habit" became exceptionally popular with the help of going viral on TikTok. So much so, that concertgoers only knew the hook and Lacy exposed them. Either way, the song is a smash and you should definitely give it a listen in full.

15. Hold Me Closer - Elton John & Britney Spears

Britney Spears' major comeback to music post-conservatorship was this collaboration with the legendary Elton John. Using his "Tiny Dancer" as inspiration for the track, the two went hard on this dance hit. We look forward to more music from Britney in the future.

14. Unholy - Kim Petras and Sam Smith

Kim Petras and Sam Smith made LGBTQ history with the track topping the U.S. charts. Smith, 30, became the first-ever openly non-binary solo artist to achieve the feat, while Petras, also 30, became the first openly transgender solo artist to do so.

13. I Like You (A Happier Song) - Post Malone & Doja Cat

Add Doja Cat to the Posty Malone mix, and we cannot deny that we like it, we doooooo.

12. Lavender Haze - Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been dominating the music industry lately (as she has for years) with the release of her highly-anticipated Midnights album. What we like about "Lavender Haze" is the electropop feel of the song, which is about the media prodding into her relationship with Joe Alwyn.

11. Obsessed - Calvin Harris ft Charlie Puth & Shenseea

Calvin Harris' Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 album is an absolute vibe, featuring the biggest names in music (Pharrell, Halsey, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, 21 Savage, Offset). Charlie Puth's vocal and piano addition to "Obsessed" makes it the standout track of the album, along with Shenseea's commanding vocals.

10. Coldplay - Lizzo

Lizzo is known to be light and have fun, but what we really loved on her Special album were her more serious and vulnerable tracks like this one.

9. Anxious - Carly Rae Jepsen

"Call Me Maybe" was a musical lifetime ago for Jepsen, with "Anxious" being a completely different sound from when the Canadian singer-songwriter first hit the scene. Her pop style has evolved and gave us this '80s-inspired track.

8. Good Ones - Charli XCX

The English singer-songwriter gave us an amazing dance pop hit with her lead single "Good Ones" off of her Crash album.

7. Baby Queen - Gorillaz

Gorillaz have and always will be a band whose music we can't get enough of. The dreamy "Baby Queen" track is from their upcoming Cracker Island album and has already been making airwaves, featured on FIFA 23's soundtrack.

6. Lift Me Up - Rihanna

Rihanna's return to music after 2016's Anti came in with a powerful, heartfelt ballad featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. With her voice shining through with minimal instrumentation, we are able to appreciate her artistry wholly.

5. Die For You - Joji

You may know Joji from his comedic work as "Pink Guy," but the Japanese artist's low-fi R&B songs have been notable since his 2018 debut studio album Ballads 1.

4. Tití Me Preguntó - Bad Bunny

We may not know what Bad Bunny is saying, but we do know that we love dancing to this dembow song.

3. As It Was - Harry Styles

Harry's lead single off of Harry's House is this addicting synth-pop track that, despite its lonely lyrics, gets us dancing.

2. Sacrifice - The Weeknd

The Weeknd's Dawn FM supplied us with amazing music and "Sacrifice" is one of our favorites off the '80s-influenced album. The song is edgy and haunting, all while being a lively dance hit.

1. THIQUE - Beyonce

Sure, we love "Break My Soul" off of Beyonce's Renaissance album, but "THIQUE" makes us feel powerful in our womanhood. The dark trap-infused hip-house beat was produced eight years ago!
