Put your game face on, and get ready for some serious fun!
The ARCADE has officially opened at Bally's (currently being rebranded into Horseshoe Las Vegas), and if you're looking for a new place to take your family and friends for some fun and excitement, this brand new arcade on the Las Vegas Strip is definitely worth checking out. There are over 80 games to choose from, which makes this attraction perfect for any group outing - there's something for everyone!
According to Fox 5, The ARCADE is located on the first level of Bally's near the food court. It is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight. Perfect for early morning adventures with the kiddos and late-night date nights with a significant other. A re-loadable card is used to play games rather than cash, and points are accumulated on the card instead of the dispersion of physical tickets. I love it... SO much easier to keep track of. One key element remains the same though... racking up those prizes at the very end! That's always my favorite part.
An even greater selling point for some... Fox 5 also reports that Caesars Entertainment has said that "the area will feature a bar, which is expected to open in the coming weeks, that will serve a selection of bottled and draft beer, cocktails and wine." Cheers!
Incredible Variety of Old vs. New
With over 7,000-square-feet filled with more than 80 games for arcade-goers to enjoy, The ARCADE features many classic favorites, as well as several newcomers created with next-level technology. With such a mixture, it's virtually impossible to not have the time of your life. Whether you have a competitive itch that needs scratched, or you're just trying to have a fun, chill night, The ARCADE can accommodate your every wish and need. The mix of old versus new is spectacular.
Here are just a few of the games you can expect to see in The ARCADE at Bally's:
Skee-Ball

Who doesn't love this timeless classic? It's one of my favorite arcade games and truly an arcade necessity. Arcade-goers have been enjoying this game for well over 100 years. You get to roll a ball up a ramp and try to get it in a hole... Perfect for those who possess a competitive edge (cough cough ME). So much fun!
Multiplayer Virtual Reality

Virtual reality has taken the 21st century by storm. According to Fox 5, The ARCADE "features virtual reality with games like “King Kong” and “Mission Impossible,” a four-player interactive gaming experience." The best part... VR feels so real! It's so cool that this technology has made it's way to the arcade floor for all to experience.
Rock The Rim

Shootin' hoops in the arcade is always a blast, especially when you're going up against a pal. Rock The Rim takes it to the next level with full HD video backboards that incorporates additional games into the original concept. These different games are controlled by the baskets you make. It's super cool, but honestly, I'm just a huge fan of the funky colors, flashy lights, and graffitied basketballs.
Supersized Claw Machines

It doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing. If I see one of these bad boys, my hand automatically goes for my wallet and I put a dollar in. I think I'm addicted to the thrill of the experience. The ARCADE features a Big One Extreme, aka a ginormous version of the classic claw machine... Just take my wallet.
Air Hockey

Perhaps the most competitive classic of all time... An arcade would be amiss without the piercing, repetitive clank of a plastic puck smacking the sides of an air hockey table. For over 50 years, this game has been causing fights and evoking aggression out of those who choose to participate. Nonetheless, it's undeniable that air hockey is a classic fan favorite and will remain so for years to come.

Ranked: Best Mini Golf In Las Vegas
I'm competitive to the max, and I consider myself the queen of target sports and rec activities. I'm always down for a game of pool or cornhole, a venture to the bowling alley (yes, I own my own bowling shoes), and, at the top of my favs, a trip to play mini golf. There's not much I love more than playing some putt putt. In my book, World Mini Golf Day is a calendared holiday.
World Mini Golf Day is celebrated every year on the same day: September 21st. For those that haven't experienced the pleasures of the miniature clubs and neon golf balls before, mini golf is, unsurprisingly, similar to golf itself. However, mini golf focuses on the putting part. Aka the most frustrating part of golf. There's nothing quite like going on a vacation with your family and watching everyone lose it over their ball missing the hole that's only a mere two feet away. It's a game that drives everyone mad. It's a game that induces an emotional roller coaster upon all with a putter in their hand. But ultimately, more than anything, it's an extremely fun social game and fairly inexpensive most of the time.
While my love for the miniature sport has taken me to several different putt putt locations across the country, I have to say, Las Vegas has some of my favorites. I've scoured Vegas for the best mini golf spots this city has to offer. In the six years I've lived here, I've gone on many dates and numerous outings with friends that have exposed me to several amazing, colorful courses with some super cool themes. It's only right that I share these spots with you in honor of World Mini Golf Day.
Check out the best mini golf spots in Las Vegas:
3) Rex Center
Rex Center has so many additional activities as well. The neon dinosaurs make this course a total BLAST!
2) Twilight Zone by Monster Mini Golf
Located inside (what is currently) Bally's, this glow-in-the-dark course is the perfect challenge. SO fun!
1) KISS by Monster Mini Golf
My personal favorite. This gem is located inside Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The big surprise on the last hole is a MUST SEE!

National Pasta Month: Top 5 Pasta Spots In Las Vegas
Ah, October. The leaves are changing colors. The air is crisp and cool. Pumpkin spice is everywhere you look. And best of all, it's National Pasta Month!
Whether you're a fan of tender spaghetti, chewy fettuccine, or hearty ravioli, there's a pasta dish out there with your name on it. Or maybe you're like me, and every pasta dish has your name on it. Even as a kid, I was never a picky eater whatsoever (my mother hit the jackpot). That said, to this day, I've never come face-to-face with a pasta I didn't like. I take that back. I've never come face-to-face with a pasta I didn't LOVE. Overall, it's totally a comfort food of mine. It's hard not to love all things carb-y and delicious, and pasta has certainly earned the top spot in my book for the best carb-loaded creation to ever grace this planet. YUM.
According to National Today, pasta has been enjoyed for centuries upon centuries, dating as far back as 5000 BC. Apparently, the Chinese were the first civilization to eat pasta. And here we are, in the 21st century, enjoying similar dishes all of these years later. Heck. Even our pets are enjoying it! Pasta is actually safe for your dog or cat to consume, so long as it is in small amounts and your pet isn't allergic to wheat. Make sure your per isn't allergic to wheat... Big yikes.
National Pasta Month deserves massive celebration. And what better place to enjoy a good plate of noodles than Sin City? Las Vegas is home to countless restaurants offering exquisite cuisine, and the pasta situation here, in my opinion, reigns supreme. With so many delicious options to choose from, where will you celebrate National Pasta Month? Bon Appetit!
Here are 5 of the best places to get your pasta fix in Las Vegas:
5) Maggiano's Little Italy - Downtown Summerlin & Fashion Show Mall
It doesn't matter which side of the Las Vegas Valley you live on. Maggiano's has two locations in town - one in Downtown Summerlin, and one on the Las Vegas Strip inside Fashion Show Mall. My personal favorite dishes are their "Famous Rigatoni 'D'" and "Mom's Lasagna." They even offer several dishes "family style!"
4) A•Mano Pizza & Italian Cuisine - Centennial Hills
This gem has gone viral on social media for a reason and is located on the edge of Centennial Hills and North Las Vegas. I highly recommend you try their famous "Fat Baby!" There are several different pasta dishes to choose from for the creation, making it a fun and delicious experience for all. Amano is one of the most perfectly unique options for celebrating National Pasta Month in Las Vegas!
3) Bella Vita - Henderson & Blue Diamond
There are currently two locations in Las Vegas - one in Henderson and one on Blue Diamond Road, but a third Bella Vita location is coming soon to Boca Park in Summerlin. This upscale Italian restaurant has some of the best vibes and best pasta dishes in town. Whether you decide to go with their delicious Linguini Pesto, their flavorful Frutti Di Mare, or one of their other pasta offerings, you're sure to have a wonderful, tasteful experience. They also offer pickup and delivery!
2) Carbone - Aria Resort & Casino
If you're looking for 20th century elegance, I've got your spot right here. Carbone inside Aria Resort & Casino is a high-end Italian eatery that serves up classic dishes with a modern twist. I recommend trying the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka - it's like spicy comfort food for your soul.
1) Tao Asian Bistro - The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
I've only had the pleasure of dining here a couple of times in my life, but it certainly impressed and earned the top spot. This stylish bistro offers a more upscale take on Asian cuisine (think Wagyu beef and Maine lobster), but its noodle dishes are definitely not to be missed. Tao has several unique takes on classic favorites like Lo Mein and Pad Thai, so go ahead and slurp away! Seriously, some of the best dishes I've ever had.
