Drake and 21 Savage just announced their upcoming tour, the It’s All a Blur Tour. Fans were so hype… until they found out the tickets cost anywhere from $200 to upwards of $500. Cash App cardholders got early access to pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, but that hasn’t stopped fans from voicing their displeasure on Twitter.
The first thing many fans noticed was how expensive the tickets were, with one fan saying “Drake and 21 Savage for 500 dollars? I don’t think so! #draketickets” Others found it amusing that people were so upset about ticket prices when Drake dropped an entire album so recently — “I’m laughing at people who are mad at drake for charging 500 dollars for his concert when he just dropped an album 2 weeks ago!!! #ItsAllABlurTour.” Some even accused the rapper of taking advantage of his fans — “Drake is just milking us dry with this new tour #ItsAllABlurTour” One fan put it all in perspective when they tweeted “$500 for two hours of pure entertainment? That’s not bad, right? Twitter has been abuzz with reactions to the news of Drake and 21 Savage’s ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’ ticket prices!
If you got the money get your tickets here.
Who do we blame for the ticket prices? We could blame the venue. We could blame the artist, we could blame Ticketmaster. But at the end of the day if you want to see your favorite artists you pay the price.
While some are understandably unhappy about how much tickets will cost, others are embracing the opportunity just to see Drake and 21 Savage together live. Either way, it looks like this is going to be one tour/show you don’t want to miss! They are obviously selling ok though because they just added a show to the Vegas stop. Not only will he be here September 1st but also September 2nd.
