Like the rest of us, Dolly Parton loves Taco Bell's Mexican Pizza, and according to a recent Instagram post, she's participating in a musical about Taco Bell bringing back the popular menu item, which had been discontinued in 2020. She captioned an image of a Taco Bell script saying, "I'm making #MexicanPizzaTheMusical with @TacoBell #tacobellpartner." The script is titled "Victor Kunda's Mexican Pizza: The Musical," and lists three writers: Hannah Frieldman, Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear. The script says on the front page, "Based on the true tory of the Internet losing its mind."

Fans responded to the post, with one writing, "I am HERE for this. tell me there's merch." Another fan was a bit confused, saying, "Dolly. What." Taco Bell also commented on Parton's post with star eyes emojis. Broadway World refers to Dolly as an "Influential Taco Bell superfan," in their report on the musical, saying that she "joins Taco Bell's biggest fans for a satirical musical about the 'harrowing' story of those who fought to bring back the Mexican Pizza."

Per Broadway World, Mexican Pizza: The Musical will premiere on TikTok on May 26 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
