Ezra Miller broke their silence about their erratic behavior over the last few years, saying they are seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues,” according to a statement provided to Variety.

The Flash star apologized for their actions, saying, “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”

As we previously reported, it seems as though scenario one of Warner Bros. options for Miller seems to be taking effect, with the actor seeking professional help. In the next phase, if all goes well, Miller could give an interview explaining their troubling behavior and then do limited press for The Flash, which would open in cinemas as planned.

Miller was cast as the Flash in 2014 and the development process has been long, with multiple directors coming and going over the years until Andy Muschietti took over. The film also stars Michael Keaton, back as Batman for the first time in 30 years, and Ben Affleck as a different version of Batman. Miller began their time as the Flash with cameos in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, both released in 2016, before having a main role in Justice League a year later.

The Flash is set to open in theaters on June 23, 2023.

Twitter Imagines How Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’ Press Tour Would Go

While Warner Bros. is weighing their options on what to do with The Flash star Ezra Miller as they continue to make headlines, Twitter seems to have come up with some scenarios of their own.

As we earlier reported, one of Warner's plans for the star is to have them do a press tour after seeking professional help. If that happens, Miller could give an interview explaining their erratic behavior over the past few years, and The Flash would open in cinemas next June as planned.
