(Photo by Rebecca Sapp/Getty Images for Zimmer Children's Museum)It's the end of an era. Dr. Phil's talk show is coming to an end this week after 19 years on air. Millions of viewers have tuned in to watch Dr. Phil offer advice, give tough love, and deliver reality checks to his guests (with a really great accent might I add). Throughout the show's run, he's tackled topics ranging from addiction and mental health to family dynamics and celebrity scandals. But what really made Dr. Phil's show special were the guests who came on and bared their souls for the world to see. In honor of his final week, let's take a look back at some of his most memorable guests.
The "Cash Me Outside" girl:
One of the most if not THE most viral moments from Dr. Phil's show came from a 13-year-old girl named Danielle Bregoli, who became known as the "Cash Me Outside" girl. Her episode aired in 2016 and featured her mom desperate for help with her daughter’s behavior. Danielle's antics on the show spawned a meme and endless GIFs, but she's since turned her life around and is now a "successful rapper" under the name Bhad Bhabie.
The "Eminem Is My Dad" teen:
in 2016, Hayle a 19-year-old girl lied about many things including donating a kidney to her brother, her being 9 months pregnant with a baby she named Jesus, and Eminem being her dad. Despite multiple Drs saying there was so sign of her being pregnant, her brother never needing a kidney, and her mother and sister trying to tell her who her real dad is she still insisted.
The "Octomom":
In 2009, Dr. Phil interviewed Nadya Suleman, a woman who had given birth to octuplets despite already having six children. Suleman's decision to have so many children through IVF sparked a media frenzy, and many criticized her for taking on more than she could handle. Dr. Phil's interview with Suleman was tense at times, with the audience members audibly gasping at some of her answers. Suleman has since had a tumultuous life, but her appearance on Dr. Phil remains a classic episode.
The "Killer Son":
In 2012, Zachery Davis was on Dr. Phil they sat down together after he killed his mom and right before his murder trial. He was later convicted of murder after admitting it and was sentenced to life. He said that voices in his head told him to do it. Dr. Phil wanted to find out if he was mentally ill or just a monster.
The "Pregnant Heroin User":
In 2016 a girl named Niki was brought to the Dr. Phil Show by her mom and sister because she was 8 months pregnant and using heroin. She went from a beautiful, privileged life to living in a van and sleeping around to get money for heroin for her and her boyfriend. Dr. Phil ended up getting her help and the last we know she was 13 months clean.
Dr. Phil's talk show may be coming to an end, but the impact he's had on pop culture is undeniable. From the catchphrases, to the infamous guests, Dr. Phil has provided audiences with shock, laughter, and tears over the years. While some guests may have been controversial or even polarizing, they certainly made for great memes and memories. Farewell, Dr. Phil!

Songs Made Popular By TV Shows And Movies
We all have our favorite songs from our favorite artists. We wait for their new albums to drop and savor every track. But have you ever found yourself singing along to a song from an artist you don't really know and wondered, "Hmm, where did that song come from?" Chances are you heard it in a movie or a tv show. Some songs are only made popular because they were featured on the big screen and it makes you wonder if it would be as big if it hadn't been featured.
Let's start with the British singer Paolo Nutini. You may not know him but you probably do know his song "Iron Sky" gained popularity after it was featured in the 2013 movie "The Great Gatsby"? The song is a super soulful, powerful track. If you haven't seen the movie it's worth a watch and the song is worth a listen.
What about Sia? You know her and her music she's got hits like "Chandelier" and "Cheap Thrills," but her song "Breathe Me" gained popularity after it was used in the final scene of the TV show "Six Feet Under." The haunting lyrics underscored the emotionally charged finale and made it that much more impactful.
Some songs are popular and chart-topping on their release but then get popular again when they are featured years later. "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by the iconic Eurythmics. It's such a great song and was when it came out in 1983 but regained popularity when it was featured in the 2004 movie "Eurotrip".
These are just a few examples of hidden gems that gained popularity from movies and TV shows. Sometimes it takes a little exposure to the right media to make a great song a hit. Let's dive into the songs that were made popular by TV and movies.
