Carl’s Donuts Is Back In Downtown Las Vegas!
We all have our favorite donut spots in the Las Vegas Valley. Pinkbox, Randy’s Donuts, Krispy Kreme – there’s no denying that Las Vegas has quite the iconic donut scene. But now, the scene is about to get even sweeter with the return of long-time donut favorite, Carl’s Donuts, in downtown Las Vegas!
Carl’s Donuts Back In DTLV
When it comes to legendary donut joints, Carl’s Donuts is hard to beat. The donut shop has quite the history in the city of Las Vegas, having opened its first shop in Downtown Las Vegas in 1966. According to 8 News Now, the owners, Carl and Lyn Sanders ultimately decided to move to wholesale operations, ending their run with their retail operations. That is, until they opened up their first retail store in several decades on Sunset Road near Pecos Road just six years ago. Now, thanks to Carl’s grandchildren, the legendary donut shop will be opening another location and returning to where it all started – Downtown Las Vegas.
Carl’s Donuts Gets A Name Change
While Carl’s legendary donuts are returning, the shop will actually feature a new name. “The Donut Hole” is DTLV’s newest and grooviest hole in the wall, offering the same classic donuts you’ve grown to love for decades, just donning a new name. The new shop opened its doors in February 2024, so anyone can go and try their legendary donuts as soon as you’d like! 8 News Now reports that the shop is located “in the heart of downtown Las Vegas just a block away from Fremont Street Experience and right off Las Vegas Boulevard at 124 South 6th Street, Las Vegas.”
