City Of Henderson Offers Free Ice Skating Through 2024

Residents of the City of Henderson can take advantage of upcoming free ice skating events at America First Center throughout 2024.

2024 is just getting started, and parents are always looking for fun, family-friendly activities to do with their kids. Whether its spring, summer, fall, or winter, kids are always looking to exert some energy and have a great time! However, most of the time, these activities involve spending some dough, and they usually are not a year-round activity. However, the City of Henderson is swooping in to save the day of parents and families throughout the city. Throughout the entire remainder of 2024, the city will be offering free ice skating events to residents!

Free Ice Skating Through City Of Henderson

On specific dates at specific times throughout the rest of 2024, free ice skating events will be hosted for residents at America First Center in Henderson, NV. Do you need to be a pro skater to participate? Not at all! Skaters of all ages and experience levels can take on the ice at these events. Even if you don’t own your own ice skates, that’s okay! Attendees will be able to rent ice skates available at the arena.

2024 Event Dates & Times – How To Attend

According to News 3, the City of Henderson will be hosting free ice skating events on the following dates at the following times:

  • Thursday, March 28th: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 6th: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 14th: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 4th: 11:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday, May 27th: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 2nd: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 26th: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 9th: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 13th: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 2nd: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 24th: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 5th: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • 1) IHOP

    Kids eat free every day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entree.

  • 2) Chili's

    If you join the Chili’s rewards program you can receive offers for free kids meals and other discounts as well for adults like free appetizers.

  • 3) Smashburger

    With the purchase of any adult meal, kids eat free all day every Wednesday.

  • 4) Firehouse Subs

    Kids eat free all day on Tuesdays and Sundays with the purchase of a medium or large sub combo.

  • 5) Panda Express

    On Tuesdays, kids eat free from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. (at participating locations) with a purchase of two adult entrees.

  • Steak 'n Shake

    Under 12 years old, kids eat free all weekend with a purchase of at least $9.

  • CiCi's Pizza

    Kids under 3 eat free all day every day at CiCi’s. This is also a pizza buffet so your kids can eat that one breakstick or eat everything off the buffet it will still be free.
