New Hotel Coming To Town Square Las Vegas
Exciting news for those that enjoy staying as close to their nearest shopping mall as possible. A new hotel is coming to Town Square shopping center in Las Vegas!
Clark County has approved plans for a brand new hotel on the mall’s property, which sits just south of the Las Vegas Strip. The property will move forward with the approved plans, and Clark County Zoning Department documents indicate that the hotel can be expected to go up on the northwest side of Town Square.
According to Fox 5, “Blueprints show an 84,000-square-foot hotel with 118 rooms, many with kitchenettes; other amenities include an outdoor barbecue by the pool and bike racks.” I don’t know about you, but I’m already planning my staycation. No more schlepping our bags around the Strip or dealing with traffic. We can just walk right over when we’re ready to call it a day.
And speaking of bags, those kitchenettes are going to come in handy for storing leftovers from dinner at Lazy Dog or whipping up a quick snack before heading out for a night at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country. Plus, who doesn’t love a good poolside barbecue? I can’t wait to lounge by the pool with a delicious burger and a cold drink in hand.
Clark County documents on the project state the intention to obtain building permits in a matter of months, so hopefully we’ll start to see progress on the brand new hotel as we wrap up 2022 and kick start the new year. However, it could be a while before they start shuffling dirt and begin the construction process, as the company has until October 2024 to start construction.
