Here’s What The MrBeast Las Vegas Video Was Like
To say there was some bad press coverage around the MrBeast Las Vegas production at Allegiant Stadium would be an understatement. Their filming of a 2,000 contestant deep preliminary contest for his Amazon Prime Video series “Beast Games” was surrounded with accusations of cruel conditions, inadequate access to medication and more.
While the headlines for the blowback of the production have died down a bit, we are finally getting our first look at the show and for all of its alleged faults, the video was quite literally a production that would challenge, if not trump the biggest Super Bowl ever captured on film.
The MrBeast Las Vegas Competition Was Epic
When you are producing the biggest game show ever made with a grand prize of $5,000,000, you are going to need one of the biggest venues to hold it at. Allegiant Stadium was the secret (not so secret) venue for the shoot earlier this year.
The most ridiculous thing about this video is this isn’t even the official start of the “Beast Games” show. The MrBeast Las Vegas video is just the pre-cursor teaser video that whittled down the total number of contestants from 2,000 to 1,000, who then went off to an equally ridiculous production in Toronto for the Amazon Prime series.
Yes. This is “just” a YouTube video.
This Behind The Scenes Video Is Arguably More Incredible
Obviously the production is impressive, but a behind the scenes video from YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss is perhaps the most impressive video of all.
In it, host Arun Rupesh Maini takes you around the production from behind the camera, showing the unbelievable undertaking the production was. From the infrastructure, to the cameras, to the massive army of staff, it is a modern day miracle that this production went off.
Sure, maybe 2,000 contestants is a bit complicated to keep tabs on. But you have to appreciate the sheer scale of what it is they did. Giving away $5,000,000 is expensive!
