Aimee’s Update: R. Kelly Finally Sentenced
- Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement! She hasn’t done a movie since 2014 and officially announced her retirement to Hollywood in 2018. That was until Jamie Fox called her and asked her to star in an action-comedy with him called “Back in Action” the plot of the movie is being kept a secret? Weird. Cameron tweeted “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action! I can’t frickin wait it’s going to be a blast.” Any given Sunday is one of my all-time favorite movies. I am excited to see them work together again. What has Cameron been doing the past few years anyway? I feel like I haven’t seen her anywhere. I guess that’s what retirement is!
- Finally, R Kelly was sentenced. The trial was about a month long but it was a long time coming. He was arrested in 2019 and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. I mean, if you watched surviving R Kelly you couldn’t wait for this day. He didn’t say anything at all during his sentencing. I was actually surprised by that. I am curious how many people can stomach his music nowadays after knowing what he was writing about!
- Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital Tuesday and as of yesterday we had no idea what was going on with him but it seemed pretty serious with people asking for prayers for him. TMZ confirmed that he was in the hospital because he has pancreatitis triggered by a colonoscopy. Shawn was surprised that Travis Barker is so old that is getting colonoscopies, but hey.. we are old too. He is still in the hospital as far as we know but on the mend. Hopefully, he is out soon. Get well fast.
